She is the best! Great office!

This whole experience was horrible, I even walked out feeling uneasy and I use to work at a doctors office for almost 10 years- never felt like that before. I was told that I for sure had an STD and would need to tell my husband. I was told that if I got pregnant it would carry on to my baby. Dr Plaza was drawing labs that would confirm that. She told me that I would be getting a phone call with the lab results and I would also be able to view my results on the online portal. I NEVER got a call and when I reached the front desk twice by telephone to sort out the online portal it was still never resolved for me. I was never able to log in to my patient portal, there was an error. I had to reach Quest Labs directly to give me my test results. Which came back all NEGATIVE for STDs- I even rescheduled with a different OBGYN to confirm this so I wasn't "self diagnosing" and she confirmed that my blood results showed I tested negative for every single thing. Dr Plaza was wrong and horrible.

HORRIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL. A close family member of mine saw Dr. Yocoima today and left on the verge of tears! She went because of her reviews, and to check on a serious health issue but instead was judged and chastised for her personal choices. Instead of doing her job, and being a place for a woman to feel comfortable and open she was made to feel less than. Also might I add how she gave her contraceptives, and sex advice instead of helping her with what her visit was scheduled for. Insanely unprofessional, horrible bedside manner, judgmental, and plain rude. If you have younger daughters, cousins, nieces etc don’t sent them her way because she won’t take them serious and will just berate, and degrade them.

Uncaring. Saw her 3 times and she determined I needed surgery but only after I lost 80 pounds. Sought help at another practice and have never been better.

Not by choice i was forced to find another physician when i was in between insurances due to a job change. The first visit i had i was spoken to like a child who was being reprimanded for not having children. Due to my history of hpv i against My better judgement continued a follow up where i was told i had pcos and needed to lose weight and consider having children immediately. A year later here for my follow up no help dealing with the diagnosis which i researched all on my own and sought out help only to be told i just need to lose weight. Staff confirms appointments non stop but fail to mention they moved locations! Do not waste ur time there are many physicians who actually care for their patients and this is NOT one of them.

Dr. Plaza is the best GYN I've ever had. She is compassionate, timely, and understanding. I think back to all of my other visits throughout the years and realize that this is what all of those visits should have been like. I no longer dread going for my annual or any other visits to the GYN.

Dr and staff purposely - and as a vicious practical joke I suppose, entered “mentally ill does not work “ in my medical records which is false. I hold a full time job and make $84K a year, triple what Plaza’s assistants probably make. So that in and if itself is a fact. They lied in my medical records. Just so anyone considering this practice knows....

Doctor made me feel suicidal about my weight gain.

I received excellent care from the girls at the office and specially from Doctor Plaza. Will recomend.
