Dr. Patel did an emergency appendectomy on me and 4 days later I travelled to New York and walked the city with my daughters pain free. From the moment I arrived at the ER the process was efficient and timely with testing, surgery, recovery and being discharged within hours. He was very nice and explained everything before and after the surgery. Because Dr. Patel is proficient at robotic surgery, there were no complications and very little scarring. I would recommend Dr Patel to everyone.

This surgeon has a God complex like no other. I was in for a consultation on a lipoma that I had in my back. My primary care physician referred me there for a surgery. The med student came in for assessment and felt the lipoma in my lower back on both sides. When Dr. Patel entered the room, he said he did not feel it. The medical student then said she didn't feel it either (odd?). As I am respecting his professional opinion in not wanting to perform surgery on something he can not feel, I did address that I have had this exact surgery for the same problem 3 times previously, but am new to the area, hence why I am seeing a new surgeon. He told me it's impossible to have the pain I am experiencing due to the problem I was referred to him for; making me out to be a liar it seemed. Whether that be the case or not, I was completely dismissed and was treated as if I was incompetent and was lying about my pain in my lower back. I was told "Well, I do this for a living" when I asked why my… primary care physician felt it last week. He said he would be "happy to do an ultrasound to see if anything is there" - in a sarcastic demeanor, and then said he would recommend me to get an MRI instead. I declined, and will never be returning to his office again. I left the office crying of embarrassment. I am disappointed in the way that I was spoken to and treated as if I don't have any pain. I will be seeking a second opinion from another surgeon. Hopefully one with better bedside manner and respect for patients.

Surgeon explained my surgery would be a very common procedure, however, I developed complications and he would not help me. Instead he said his work was done and referred me to my PC for a Pain Management referral. I went to another surgeon and they saw the same imaging and found remnants of what should have been removed during the surgery. Now I need additional surgery. Please get a second opinion.

A caring physician that takes his patients and his delivery of care seriously. He is by far one of the best surgeons in Las Vegas and I was blessed to have had him as mine. Please if you are in need of a surgeon please give Dr. Patel a call you will not regret your decision. His skills are superior so to his mannerisms, bedside manor calm one who listens and allows no invites your input. Dr. Patel provided emergent care/surgery which he discussed, before and after surgery and was reachable when needed. My family was impressed and felt reassured about his care. Thank you Dr. Patel as I said before and many times since your are the best.

After reading his reviews i did not expect to have such a positive experience. I am 8 days post op from a hemmoroidectomy and i have had an overall great recovery. Dr. Patel and his staff were there to answer all my questions. I know many who have gone through this painful procedure and i would like to say i got lucky with Dr. Patel. Though it was painful my recovery was overall easy and the procedure went by smoothly. I do agree he is not much of a people person but his quality of work is great. His staff also responds quickly. I highly recommend.

He was rude you can tell he was busy and didn't really care. Seen him for maybe four minutes of the 2 hours I spent waiting for my pre opp appointment I seen the "student Doctor" more than I seen him. The day of my surgery I seen him for maybe 2 minutes he came asked if I had asthma and left. His nurse than told me when being discharged that I had stiches and two days later I began bleeding to than realize I had staples. My post opp appointment I waited two hours again and I was his first patient of the day ð???. Where he came in the room asked how I healed and left and sent his assistant to remove the staples.

Dr. Patel mutilated me by when he put me back together after surgery he also placed multiple staples in areas of my surgery that didn't even require a staple it was away from the incision dr. Patel is rude his staff is rude I would not ever go back to him again

Dr. Patel cannot be trusted. He lied several times to my family and me regarding my diagnosis and also lied about his involvement in the management of my care. Both Dr. Patel and is PA did not order or follow-up on critical labs/imaging studies, which resulted in a major delay in my medical/surgical care. As a result, I experienced major medical complications, which will have an enduring impact on my health and quality of life.
