Dr. Young Thi McMahan, MD

I heard very good reviews about this doctor, went in for a visit with my daughter and she seems irritated to have to do her job. When i proceeded to tell her everything we were doing on our end as far as cutting foods out, etc, she just dismissed it like it was in vain. No good job, yes do this do that have you tried this. Rushed us out then was on her cell phone when we walked out of the office. I don't know about the other doctors in this practice but we will NOT be going back. Waste of time

While receiving a skin check from Dr.McMahan, she asked if I wanted her to freeze a wart on the back of my calf. The process took less than 5 seconds, and I assumed it would be covered in the cost of the skin check. I was shocked when I received the bill, and her office had charged me $170 for the removal of the wart that I did not even know I had! After talking with the corporate billing office twice, writing a letter and then talking with Wendy, the business manager in the office, Dr.McMahan will not remove the charge OR take a lesser amount for the bill. I will NEVER visit this physician again, and encourage all who do to be very aware of the possibility of hidden charges. I believe Dr. McMahan was highly unprofessional in how she handled this situation.

I feel like the previous review I feel like there is no way you can get a thorough exam in the short time span and quick look at your body. She was in and out so quick that I had to get her assistant to call her back in for something that I had wanted her to look at

I was a first time patient. The staff was very nice and easy to work with. Medical assistant had a great personality and was willing to listen and talk to me. Dr. McMahan gave me an EXTREMELY brief scan of my skin, no way a person’s eyes can even see that much surface area that fast, much less process what was seen. She was pretty disinterested in anything I told her and almost acted like it was a bother for me to even be there. Talked down to me like I was an idiot...and I have degree in biology, taught high school science, and a doctorate in education. Not a good first time experience. She is definitely about quantity of patients processed and not quality of care.

Dr McMahan along with her staff were very welcoming from the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out. I would recommend her to my family and friends; she was very informative and easy to talk to. Not only was the appointment quick and painless but I left worry free!

The sweetest doctor ever. She cares genuinely for each patient. Her staff is wonderful also! Definitely recommend her to anyone.

She is easy to talk to and very helful, i would recommend her.

She will treat you like you're an idiot and nothing you say is of value to her.
