Dr. Young Min Song, MD

I have 18 years of getting Botox for Migraine 4x/year. I got my first injection of Botox since I moved back to Tucson. Dr. Song screwed up the Botox injections terribly! Her injection pattern is nothing like what I've had before, but I was willing to try her way, thinking it might be better. Not only do I have ZERO EFFICACY, but she created a TERRIBLE cosmetic appearance on my face. She did a big, single injection in the middle of my forehead that is now indented and looks like someone smashed their thumb in my forehead, leaving a permanent dent. Now, my normal facial expressions and forehead movements go around this large area of muscle paralysis and it looks so awful, I don't want to leave my house. She got the injections too close to the outside corners of my eyes, affecting the eye muscles that create a ring around each eye. It feels like someone is pulling my eyes out to the sides, it's very uncomfortable and has caused severe dry eyes, requiring Refresh Plus Eye Drops 4x/day or… more. I've never had dry eyes before. My right upper eyelid is now dropped a 1/4 inch lower than the left eye. When my eyes are open, the right lower eyelid is invisible because of the drooping. I look like two different people in my eyes. In addition, I have a big indentation going from the outside corner of my right eye diagonally toward the right nostril. The indentation is 2 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. Dr. Song should be immediately prohibited from prescribing, injecting Botox in people's faces for any condition. I will be filing a formal complaint with the State Medical Board. I urge you to file your own complaint with the state board. I don't think Dr. Song should be practicing medicine AT ALL after my experience and all the horror stories I've read about her messing up other people's care. Dr. Song got her medical degree in South Korea. There is no comparison to medical school in the US. I have no idea how she passed the boards. I wouldn't see her again if she was the only doctor left on Earth. DO NOT GO TO DR. SONG.

I don't always go by reviews, but should have this time. Dr Song has a very unpleasant manner, probably should go into something like pathology or radiology that doesn't involve direct patient care.

Saw Dr. Song for the first time today and I was blown away with her level of knowledge and willingness to share it. She answered so many questions I've had forever, explained her thinking and plan for management. I am thrilled that my internist sent me to her and very pleased that she will be managing my care!

I saw Song for Myoclonic jerking. From the moment she walked through the door she was rude, disrespectful and angry. She asked a few quick questions, and without looking at any electrical conduction studies or at an MRI, decided it was psychogenetic (emotional). After reminding her I was having difficulty walking as well, she looked disgusted and ordered me to walk down the hall. She then did a neuro exam that was so rough, I have bruises from it. She kept telling me to hurry up. She would go off on strange tangents that didn’t relate to my visit. This was a very bad experience and I’m not returning to her. My suggestion would be to stay clear of her.

This doctor is evil. Please, don't waste your time. I tried to report her and no one in the office would return my phone calls or messages.

cold, impatient, absolutely no follow up on important issue

Did not explain anything to me about the procedures I had done. Was very bossy and told me what to do in a very unpleasant and rude way. Completed the procedure and just got up and left the room without saying a single word.

I was referred to dr.song when my previous neurologist accepted another position. I thought upon our first few visits that perhaps she was overwhelmed with new patients, or adjusting to a new and busy clinic/practice. I say this because she is/was difficult to communicate with, highly impatient and very "short ", bordering on rude. I have serious neurological conditions and have been receiving what I would say is very good care in three states for twenty years. Dr. Songs care absolutely provides no positive or beneficial outcome for me any longer.

Dr Song was not helpful nore did she take the time to address my issues. She is an awful Dr. Her lack of followup was outrageous. She did not seem concerned with treating my stoke nor taking future preventative measures. If you or a family member are in need of medical care for a neurological issue seek care elsewhere.

DR. SONG IS VERY PERSONABLE AND HELPFUL. SHE WAS ABLE TO EXPLAIN MY DIAGNOSIS CLEARLY AND HELPED ME UNDERSTAND THE TREATMENT NECESSARY. I AM VERY HAPPY TO HAVE HER FOR MY DOCTOR AND WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO OTHERS.
