Dr. Young Min Song, MD

Dr. Song's MA is very friendly and helpful. I see Dr. Song for migraines, so she checks to make sure the medication protocol is still working and see if I'm having any changes in frequency of migraines on them, and if all is good, renews medications. Overall, it's usually a pleasant, quick visit.

She was very accurate updating my chart.

Dr. Song was great. She spent time to explain everything. A real hands on doctor.

Well , first time seeing her with my wife, she was very unpleasant and I was there because my wife has memory problems but all she wanted was to talk about her weight ! and it is a problem too because she is under weight but we were there for her memory but we did never got to talk about it, so I still have my wife's problem.

I have been seeing Dr. Song for almost 8 years now for my migraine. I see her every 3 months for the Botox clinic injections. I was very skeptical at first because if the misconception that Botox is for “cosmetic use only.” I’ve had migraines ever since I was 7 years old and nothing ever helped! All the medicine would make me sleepy and not take the migraine away permanently but only temporarily. Dr. Song educated me and encouraged me to try her clinic. Needless to say ever since ny first Botox Clinic my once excruciating migraines are now under control and occur seldomly. With Dr. Song you have to do the chatting and she is more than willing to answer politely. We have so many great conversations while she is doing my injections. She is my “Neuro Ninja” sent from heaven!! I thank GOD for this procedure. Nothing is worse than living in pain 24/7. Dr. Song has helped me live my life to the fullest without pain for myself and family! She truly does care for her patients!! She’s fast,… smart and efficient!!

I have 18 years of getting Botox for Migraine 4x/year. I got my first injection of Botox since I moved back to Tucson. Dr. Song screwed up the Botox injections terribly! Her injection pattern is nothing like what I've had before, but I was willing to try her way, thinking it might be better. Not only do I have ZERO EFFICACY, but she created a TERRIBLE cosmetic appearance on my face. She did a big, single injection in the middle of my forehead that is now indented and looks like someone smashed their thumb in my forehead, leaving a permanent dent. Now, my normal facial expressions and forehead movements go around this large area of muscle paralysis and it looks so awful, I don't want to leave my house. She got the injections too close to the outside corners of my eyes, affecting the eye muscles that create a ring around each eye. It feels like someone is pulling my eyes out to the sides, it's very uncomfortable and has caused severe dry eyes, requiring Refresh Plus Eye Drops 4x/day or… more. I've never had dry eyes before. My right upper eyelid is now dropped a 1/4 inch lower than the left eye. When my eyes are open, the right lower eyelid is invisible because of the drooping. I look like two different people in my eyes. In addition, I have a big indentation going from the outside corner of my right eye diagonally toward the right nostril. The indentation is 2 inches long and 1/4 inch wide. Dr. Song should be immediately prohibited from prescribing, injecting Botox in people's faces for any condition. I will be filing a formal complaint with the State Medical Board. I urge you to file your own complaint with the state board. I don't think Dr. Song should be practicing medicine AT ALL after my experience and all the horror stories I've read about her messing up other people's care. Dr. Song got her medical degree in South Korea. There is no comparison to medical school in the US. I have no idea how she passed the boards. I wouldn't see her again if she was the only doctor left on Earth. DO NOT GO TO DR. SONG.

I don't always go by reviews, but should have this time. Dr Song has a very unpleasant manner, probably should go into something like pathology or radiology that doesn't involve direct patient care.
