Dr. Yu Lim Lee, MD

This is the worst place to go to if you are looking for compassionate healthcare. Their greatest concern is about getting paid and getting money through the insurance rather than providing great service to the patient. I called in to make an appointment and I asked if they could schedule in a certain test that I need to get done annually on the same day as my annual exam so that I would not have to take two separate appointments back to back and take two days off, not to mention drive several miles unnecessarily as I live about 30 minutes away. They stated I was being demanding, and I let them know I was requesting it as a convenience to me. They said that insurance won’t allow it and said they would leave a message for the doctor to see if it was possible. I was very much upset by their impolite and rude tone as well as their antagonistic approach. If they were nice in their approach, I would not have been so upset. I was also disappointed that they were letting the insurance… completely run things rather than considering the patient’s perspective and trying to meet the patient’s needs as much as possible. I told them I was willing to pay the extra fees for scheduling both on the same day. Since they were unable to work with me on this when I called, I made it clear that I did not want to confirm any appointment with them. I decided to find another doctor due to the horrible and rude customer service. Low and behold, an appointment was randomly scheduled by one of their office staff without my approval. I called several times that day to cancel the appointment as well as over the weekend, but was unable to relay any message due to their voicemail not having been setup. I finally reached them on my work break on the weekday and let them know I was upset about the random appointment and that I wanted to cancel it. There was no apology on their end. They simply said “Ok, it’s canceled.” Clearly this place is the absolute worst. If you care about your own dignity and respect, find another doctor’s office.
