Dr. Yuchun Han, MD

My father was referred to see Dr. Han for a second opinion if he has vascular dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. His previous neurologist diagnosed my father with vascular dementia and I disagreed. Dr. Han was very patient, very knowledgeable explaining to me and I felt highly satisfied. Recommend without reservation.

This Doctor is awful! I moved to Chattanooga last year and simply needed a doctor to fill my migraine rescue meds. After waiting an hour and a half past my appointment time...and the receptionist did not even acknowledge my existence in the waiting room for almost the first hour I was seen. When I saw him I explained that by using lifestyle and diet I had eliminated most of my migraines and only on rare occasion did I need Treximet, my rescue meds. He gave me the script and said I needed to come back in 6 months. I asked why and he said he just wanted to be sure I was okay. So I went back after the 6 months...once again waited for almost 2 hours and this time he spend less than 2 minutes with me. I asked if we could stretch it to yearly...he said yes and sent me up to the front. Once I was there the receptionist said the Prescription was for six months and I needed to come back. I said that the doctor had said one year would be OK so she told me to go ahead and just call in at the six… months and they would refill the prescription. So when the six months came up I called As she had said and I was informed very rudely that I had to come in to get a refill. I nicely explained what had happened and I was told again that there was nothing that they would do for me that I had to come in. I told her I felt it was ridiculous that I had to pay over $100 to come in have a doctor spend less than two minutes with me just to give me a prescription was for six months and I needed to come back. I said that the doctor had said one year would be OK so she told me to go ahead and just call in at the six months and they would refill the prescription. Saw two neurologists before for headaches, not getting any better. After I was referred to see Dr. Han and got his treatments, so far I am 80% better, very pleased.

Dr. Han has been treating me for three years. He knows that I'm a disabled veteran who prefers to receive neurological treatments outside the Veterans Affairs Clinic. Dr. Han always speaks to me in a respectful manner and never talks down to me. He's honest in his advice and thorough in both gathering information about treatments from other specialists and advice on how those may impact his recommended course of action. Dr. Han has helped me attain a measure of pain relief seldom reached by other medical professionals. He and his staff work efficiently and quickly without making me feel rushed. I always leave the office knowing I've received quality care from a doctor who truly cares. Thank You
