Dr. Yvonne Kay Haug, MD

Dr. Haug is topnotch. She is always willing to listen to my concerns. She spends time with her patients. She is not one of the Doctor's that walks in the exam room and walks out within 5 to 10 minutes. The office has had a turn over in staff. Danielle her assistant is very kind. The Receptionist is helpful and professional. They now have a billing company so that should fix the issues the Office had in the past.

Made an appointment for my mom with Dr Haug and got in the nextday she was very professional and explained everything to my mom. I would recommend Dr.Haug to anyone who is looking for a good Doctor. Laura Hicks.

Staff is always rude, especially the front desk lady. She gives us attitude every time we come in. Dr. Haug also had some passive-aggressive attitude about my child’s choices for vaccinations among other things, like NOT feeding solids at four months because said child was obviously not ready. I could go on but I’m limited to so much in this text box. I wouldn’t even recommend Haug to someone I hated, to show how much I cannot recommend someone to stay away from this one.

I don’t live in Fredericksburg, I broke my hip, had surgery, then rehab, then this office, get told she will take care of pain RX, cool, later same day go to surgeon for his okay, he asks I pass on info. Get home, check drugstore, nothing. Call office twice before I get message that they don’t do that surgeon or attending would do it, she WAS attending. Right had doesn’t know what left is doing and I still don’t have pain Rx for broken hip.

Apt left me in tears. Doctor was wildly inappropriate and scattered. Forget bedside manner, interacting on a human level seemed beyond her scope. I don't doubt her intelligence and dx and treatment skills but it's a price I'm not willing to pay.

She, as pointed out by another reviewer, behaves erratically. Arrogant and unprofessional. There is no question that she is knowledgable but makes inappropriate statements about patients and other health care professionals and is not a team player. It appears that if she dislikes a patient she keeps them in her service but ignores their needs.

Dr. Haug's strongest area, in my opinion, is in diagnosis. She's the best.

The doctor can give the appearance of a dedicated physician, occasionally providing what seems to be useful insights. But her behavior is erratic, even unprofessional at times. Her follow-up care is almost non-existent -- the doctor chronically ignores messages and important requests for information. I've heard the same from quite a few patients (and other healthcare professionals). Caveat emptor... I have serious questions about the doctor's professionalism, and suggest that you research her further before choosing her as your physician.
