Dr. Zachariah G Goldsmith, MD, PhD

I went to Dr Goldsmith as my PSA levels were continuing to rise. After some testing and the shock that I did have prostate cancer he told me about what he could do, and why, and the success rates for my stage cancer. He also told me about other treatment options to look into, like radiation. He was very thorough in his explanations and answering questions. Also very caring and reassuring. I chose to have him do the surgery. He's very proficient in robotic surgery, which he used for my prostatectomy. Am cancer free. Great surgeon and a good guy.

I was drawn to Dr. Goldsmith because of his high ratings. However, I was shocked to find in him a doctor completely uninterested in any of my questions or concerns. When I began to voice concerns, he shut me down. He was bent on a specific course of action, highly invasive and not recommended by most medical bodies. Also, his report of my visit contained untruths, stating we had discussed things that we had not! Inattentive and unethical.

I called the office and was told to get copies of any reports I have and submit to the office of Dr. Goldsmith. I collected the necessary reports and when I tried to make an appt., I was told the first appt. was two months away. I recently had tests done indicating that I needed to see a urologist quickly. Office scheduler was not only rude but not helpful in suggesting another urologist.

Very horrible service have us waiting almost 4 1/2 Hours for our 8:30 am surgery appointment no one was able to give us an answer on what's taking so long he is also Very disrespectful I definitely will report him
