Dr. Zachary Ryan Richardson, MD

Dr Zachary Richardson performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes. The surgeries were very successful, allowing me to have 20/20 far sighted vision. Dr Richardson was careful to explain the procedures he performed, and the healing time after each surgery was painless and infection free. I felt Dr Richardson performed a precise operation creating minimal trauma to my eyes. I found the Vantage Eye Center to be highly professional, operating safely under COVID 19 restrictions. The social distancing was ample, and the technicians were all professional. I highly recommend Dr Richardson to anyone who wants to work with a highly talented, very bright young ophthalmologist.

I saw Dr. Richardson 5 weeks ago and he diagnosed me with an allergy. I was in excruciating pain and experienced vision loss just the next day after the visit and had to see an ophthalmologist immediately for an emergency consultation with a different doctor. I was diagnosed with iritis, an inflammation of the eye and have been taking very strong steroids since. I’ve been needing to go for weekly checkups. Not only did Dr. Richardson misdiagnose me but was very unprofessional. He was taking my eye pressure and didn’t numb one of my eyes. Similarly the office is run very poorly. I was charged over $250 for the visit and when I called their accounting the account manager was yelling at me. She said that “Doctors are not Gods and don’t have the ability to make the correct treatment”. I was under an impression that doctors go through rigorous training and medical school and have advanced technology to treat their patients. Clearly not at this office!

I find him to be thorough and knowledgeable and takes his time to explain things.
