Dr. Ziad Hassan Idriss, MD

My sons have been patients here for 9 years and the care is exceptional. The clinic space is clean and well organized and Dr. Idriss knows pediatrics, and knows infectious diseases. He is not your warm and fuzzy pediatrician, which I see from other reviews bothered parents. If you want cozy, see someone else. If you want a clinician with decades of experience and infectious disease expertise, go here. I want excellent clinical care and straight answers, I can cuddle my own kids.

I've dealt with all three doctors in the practice (Dr. Ziad, Dr. Nadine and Dr. Virginia). Dr. Ziad and Dr. Nadine are knowledgeable but come off as very cold and arrogant. It might be a cultural thing but it really spoils the experience every single time. Dr. Virginia is friendly but I am not sure I can trust her medical advice. She prescribed a medication that was not age appropriate for my child. Other reviewers talk about the financial schemes too and this might be true. Some statements seem off.

I have been with Kenwood Pediatrics since the birth of my son. He is now 10 years old. I feel that Dr. Ziad is a very experienced and thorough pediatrician. It may seem that he is in a rush but i find that he also has a keen eye and will not miss anything. He is no nonsense but also has a compassionate heart. His daughter Dr. Nadine takes in he father's footsteps in terms of excellence in service and diagnosis. She is very pleasant ,confident and professional. Ms. Virginia has been a great addition to the practice. She comes out as knowledgable and clearly enjoys what she does. She has a great friendly personality. She has been a great addition to the team. Front office are great and very helpful too.

Dr. Zias Idriss had a very bad attitude over the 3 year I spent there. It looks like he does not enjoy his job. When my kids grew up and I asked to get my children’s files to send them to the new family doctor, the files just were not there. No files. Reluctantly, he gave me just “some” vaccines records. Very Unprofessional. He just did not like that we were leaving. His daughter is the opposite. Excellent patient care, clear communication, assertive diagnosis. My advice: stay away from Dr Zias and stay with Dr. Nadine.

Dr Idriss is very helpful

I've had it with this office! Found them last minute in a pinch and tried to remain a loyal consumer for the sake of my children growing and becoming comfortable at the doctors office but I have had enough and I think my children can tell too! Dr.Ziad dies not spend a lot of time in the appointment, it always feels rushed. But that not the main reason I don't feel comfortable there. They hired a new doctor earlier this year Dr. Virgina who has been very rude and brash since she started. During my last and FINAL appointment with her she did an assessment of my son's ability to name these crappy tiny black and white photos of animals which were hardly visible and when he couldn't name them she commented, " A little above his pay grade." That' was it. I'm happy to move on! Good luck Dr.Idriss with everything. TAKE CARE!

Excellent practice. Dr. Nadine Idriss follows on her father's steps with his extensive experience and knowledge at her side. She also brings her own tremendous brilliance and ability to provide a multi-cultural , multi-lingual , commonsensical approach to both pediatric and family medicine. She has proven to be an amazing and trusted counsellor for severe teenage issues.

I am a nurse. My son has seen Dr. Ziad and Dr. Nadine Idriss since he was a baby. Wonderful no nonsense care. Efficient, prompt. My son loves them.

He's Bedside manners are the worst!
