Dr. Zinoviy Taras Benzar, MD

NEVER on time for appointments. Wastes my time talking about his experiences, etc.

I was referred to this guy by my primary and maybe in this town he is good, but doctors that make you wait and are unable to schedule soundly are rated horrible in my book. I too am a doctor and not seeing him for drug withdrawal.

After my last Dr. I was so grateful to have Dr. Benzar. Absolutely the best Dr. & Psychiatrist by far I have seen. I have been working a treatment plan with Dr. B for 11mths. This Dr., takes his time to listen to you & your needs. I am finally starting to feel like my self. I am starting to dose down on my treatment. Looking forward to living my life with out medications.

Dr. Benzar is professional and very kind. He takes the time to talk through any issues that need to be addressed. He's passionate about those who come to him and deserves all the recognition he receives. Thank you Dr. A. Curtis

The worst doctor you could go to. It LITERALLY is a three hour wait for him to throw a prescription at you and shove you out the door. He GROSSLY overbooks his schedule daily and doesn’t care in the slightest. The waiting room gets so packed with his appointments that people have to stand for an hour. He doesn’t work Fridays and has the stupidest hours.

Don’t go to him! It LITERALLY takes three hours in the waiting room to be called. He GROSSLY overbooks his schedules daily when all he does is throw a prescription at you and throw you out the door. He’s literally the worst doctor I’ve ever been to.

thank God I found this doctor let me tell you all of a sudden out of the blue I was told that the psychiatrist I was seeing was leaving and the next thing I knew my next appointment there was Doctor Benzar from New York!This gentleman is truly God sent! Coming from Cleveland Ohio and being under psychiatrist and doctors care for over 20 years there and battling addiction since I was 15 years old and I am 44 now I was very nervous to start recovery here in Las Vegas! I had contemplated for many years if I wanted to go on some type of program with the aid of medication to help me get off opiates and let me tell you doctor Benzar will take his time with you and psychiatrists are only supposed to have 15 minutes with each patient. Now you might have a long wait because of the fact that he is so attentive to all his patients but you just have to keep in mind t how great it is to have a doctor that takes their time and is really interested in their patients lives so going on a year of… recovery thank God for Doct. Benzar!!!!

I am very fortunate. I found a doctor who came from New York. I was an addict. In the six months that I have been in treatment for my addiction, Dr. Benzar managed to taper my medications to almost nothing without any withdrawl and discomfort. I am able to keep my job, saved my marriage, and for the first time feel free from the grip of opiod addiction. Other doctors before kept me on high doses and charged me money for each visit. Dr. Benzar helped me become motivated and supports me every time I see him to become medication free in the near future. He doesn't judge, he cares.

Simply the best doctor out there. Pulled me out of my mysery and for the first time in 2 years I enjoyed the holidays and spent them with my family like I should have done before. I am back to being me after getting the right medications as well as psychotherapy from Dr. B. I wish him all the best because he is a miracle of of doctor. Thank you for seeing me at my convenience also.
