Dr. Zune Hou Liu, MD

I have been bringing my mother to Dr Liu since 2013. She has been seeing him since the 70's. I noticed that he was ordering an excessive amount of tests and return followup visits. Under the guise of monitoring her blood pressure he would hold her prescription refills hostage in return for an unneccessary office visit. I gathered his requests for these frequent unneccessary tests and office visits were motivated by money. My mother has really great insurance and Dr L.iu wanted that money. To him my mom is a cash cow. I wanted to find her another physician in 2013 when I first noticed his questionable methods. But was reluctant since she had been going to him for so long. But he has become so rude. He is rude and insensitive. Today while he was talking down to me for not bringing her back as often as he would like and for not following up on the unnecessary tests he had ordered, he gave my mother a shot without forewarning her. When she flinched he scolded saying "keep still, im… giving you a shot". That was the last straw. Ill never take my mother back to him.

This is my mother's doctors office. I have been bringing her here for six years. The staff is very polite and professional. But Dr. Liu overbooks his office and requests that I bring my mom in for unneccessary excessive and frequent follow up office visits. I honestly think it is so that he can charge the insurance company. My mother has excellent insurance and he views her as a cash cow. He can also at times be very curt and condescending to the extent of being disrespectful. Today he was annoyed because I do not agree with the excessive number of tests he orders and that my mother needs to come in for monthly follow up visits. He spoke to me as if I was an idiot. I was very insulted. No matter what his concerns were there is an appropriate way to speak to people. Today as he was talking down to me he also suprised my mom with a shot that she wasnt expecting. When she flinched he scolded her saying "hold still im giving you a shot". I will not be taking my mother back to him.

Clean, cheerful, efficient front office staff. Dr always cheerful an efficient Making time questioning your ailments an looking beyond your illness. Medication always assists in recovery. No appointment needed if your sick that day. Will fit you in. If working helps he closes at 6 pm an open Saturdays till 2pm. Always scheduled follow up appointment to check on your recovery or need another prescription. Very efficient office. Good physician. Recommended him to my family, friends an neighbors.

Dr. Liu is hungry for MONEY MONEY MONEY. He is so push to let me do tons of unnecessary tests which I refused at very beginning. He said he cannot diagnose the condition, which may be serious, without the blood test. Then he billed my insurance company 40 items for just one single visit. Even the bill goes to the insurance company, I feel it's too much. He ask me to make another appointment to get the test result. Usually my doctors just call me to explain the result via phone and mail me a physical copy. He gave me the unnecessary vaccine shot too. You cannot trust a doctor is eager for money like this guy. I don't even think he deserve the Doctor title. KEEP AWAY!!! (There are lots of same complain on Yelp.)

I have been under Dr. Lieu's care since 2004. He is a great doctor, always professional yet personable . Even though it can get extremely busy in his office with so many patients, he and his staff, particularly Cristina, Mona, and Lisa, make sure that you are seen as soon as possible. Dr. Lieu has always given me the time to ask questions about my health and has always provided the answers. He was also a doctor to my parents, and he never forgets to inquire about them. I have no complaints.

i found dr.zune liu listed as an urgent care and i was able to walk in and see the doctor. even though this clinic can be very busy dr liu was able to answer my questions that i had. i want to mention the front staff and nurse was very nice as well. even though another comment mentioned hes looking at his pc dr. liu was willing to answer my questions still , he was just slighlty tied up typing. i dont believe he has bad intentions as a provider.

Has attitude. Smug, rude, self important. Blames patient for his and staff's errors. Acts like you're insane if you question his opinion. doesn't even say "hello'', sits with his back to you and looks at his PC.

Dr Liu is truly a great physician who took care of our family for many years. Our family acknowledges with grateful appreciation your kindness and generosity during our time of need. Wishing you and your family happy holiday. Sincerely

I have been to so many doctor's office and none of them correctly diagnose my condition except when I visited Dr Zune Liu who is passionate, responsible, and care physician, and now I am completely recover from my illness. I am very grateful to Dr Zune Liu.

this doctor is a crook. he will get you to take any shot that he can when you don't even need it. i went in for chest pains and he told me i needed an hpv shot. what? then he proceeded to tell me i needed a thyroid test just "in case i have an anxiety issue". what? his office is dirty and he is plain out in it for the money. he disgusts me.
