Dr. Zvi Sharf, MD

I had Dr. Sharf do my eye surgery 10 years ago, everything went wonderful. I recently went back for a Qlift. I had my consultation and put down my deposit for my surgery. I had an emergency tooth pulled and need a replacement now put in. My dentist and oral surgeon said I couldn’t get the Qlift during this 4 month process. So I called Dr. Sharf’s office and explained my situation. Well needless to say they would not return my deposit. They didn’t offer to save it as credit towards the future or anything. I told them I could get letters or phone calls from my dentist and oral surgeon explaining the situation but they wanted no part of that. So just be aware if you put down a deposit they will not return it under any circumstance. And I understand rules and contracts but there is also compassion and understanding which Dr. Sharf’s office has obviously lost!

From start to finish, having blepharoplasty surgery with Dr. Sharf was an incredible experience. The staff was a pleasure to work with , and Laurie our surgical nurse held our hand at every step. Dr Sharf is a true artist and listened to my concerns and fears. The entire process was seamless because it was a team effort with everyone on board! My eyes look youthful, and refreshed and I couldn’t be happier!

Lol Here is my rough draft Review for Dr. Sharf In deciding to have plastic surgery to your face, you must trust the medical expertise as well as the aesthetic judgment of your Doctor.... Dr Sharf is honest, knowledgeable, kind, and extremely supportive when any concerns are raised ... whether it be pre or post surgery. Laurie, who is Dr Sharf’s surgical assistant, holds your hand through every step of the process.... whether it’s from filling out forms for surgery to answering questions, helping you through surgery and the critical days immediately post op, and beyond.... you will feel like you have made a genuine new friend who truly cares about only what is best for you!!! Dr Sharf’s office staff is the ultimate bonus... a true team with the best “coach/manager” you can imagine. Everyone knows what’s going on and goes beyond 100 percent to care for the patient- a tone that is clearly set by Dr. Sharf himself. My Q lift, which was done post… thyroid cancer and an extensive thyroidectomy, gave me back a neck that I didn’t have since my surgery 40 years ago! The bruising was minimal and recovery better than I ever imagined!!!

I’ve been to many plastics in Western NY I write this with a heavy heart . He is bad from his personality lies to ability as a surgeon. Worst experience ever face lift gone wrong. His reply it doesn’t look that bad . Really you want your work to view by others as NOT THAT BAD!!

At least I’m not alone in feeling this doctors disinterest. Add to it rejection sight unseen. I was told to wait a full year after basil cell cancer surgery done at Roswell (on my nose) to set an appointment with this office. I did. And a year after, the end of my nose remains scarred, lumpy & bumpy. Denise, a very compassionate office assistant took my information & got back to me the next day to tell me “he had no interest in even seeing me”. Wow. That was really weird- and stung. So after reading a more recent review (2020) it would appear doctor sharf has lost that loving feeling. The high ratings come from a few years ago- on this site anyway. Maybe I should thank him for saving me $80 for a disinterested 5 minutes.

I came in for a consultation at 3:50pm. I don’t normally write complaints but I was beyond disappointed and upset about me consultation and experience today with Dr. Sharf!I came in wanting information on a chin liposuction after thinking about it for quite some time. Laurie the nurse was very kind, however Dr. Sharf ran an hour behind in seeing me, and when he did come in to see me I felt completely disregarded. He spent no more than five minutes with me and seemed very irritated anytime I asked a question. He hardly went over what the procedure entailed and didn’t explain any possible risks. I had also mentioned that I was looking to get other minor work done and he didn’t even bother to address it. I get that it was the end of the day but surgery is still surgery! Doctors are supposed to make their client feel comfortable with the surgery. It is my face after all! So of course I am nervous. I was not made to feel at ease about the procedure in the slightest. After he finished his… five minute consult he told me someone would get me the price and just walked out. I am beyond upset. I spent 80$ to have someone spend less than ten minutes with me and make me feel like I wasn’t worth his time. This is completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this practice to anyone.

Very happy with my results. Dr. Scharf is a real artist. He is also calm and encouraging. He made me feel that he was really concerned about the outcome of my surgery.

Can't speak highly enough of Dr. Sharf or his staff and office.

Great experience!

I was very dissappointed with my second procedure to fix my Q-lift and neck liposuction. My jowls and face look better but my neck looks like i still have a double chin WHEN i SMILE. I am very dissappointed with my procudure. I was told by Dr. SHARF THAT MY NECK FAT WOULD BE GONE;(
