I DO NOT recommend Ms. Lowery to anyone requiring occupational therapy. Unfortunately, Ms. Lowery's behavior and words seriously degrade the excellent work of the surgeons and staff at Chicago Hand and Orthopedic Surgery Centers, such as Drs. Paul Papierski and Robert Brochin. I have been treated by Ms. Lowery for over two years for shoulder problems, and while at first, she was pleasant and professional, beginning in November 2021 she became rude, belittling, and frequently mistreated me in front of other patients when I asked questions about the exercises and why I was not making much progress. Despite doing exercises the same way for 1.5 years, Ms. Lowrey rudely told me I was doing everything wrong. She would even belittle my daughter when she asked questions. I observed her become combative with patients, causing one to tell Ms. Lowery to go to h*** and he was not coming back to finish his therapy. Ms. Lowery laughed at his outburst and told me "so what." Ms. Lowery began to talk… about her family, something I found uncomfortable. She frequently called her 2 young children s***heads and complained about her need for more money, but CHOSC would not raise her pay. I feel that it is Ms. Lowery who requires rest and therapy.
