Comprehensive Pain Consultants of the Carolinas

These people aren't interested in caring for patients at all, it's all about the money! Arrived for my appointment today to be told that I'd have to pay $500 which of course I don't have. I have Pre-approval from my insurance for the procedure I was to have done today but because my out-of-pocket limit is a few grand and I've only paid a few hundred (which amounts to being that everything I've had done they paid for and all I've had to pay for is prescriptions) that I'm at risk of the claim being denied and Pre-approval is no guarantee. The receptionist also said this had been discussed with me on two occasions prior to today which was total BS because if it had I'd most likely been able to make payment arrangements. Oh, and I drove there in a storm that probably caused flash flooding somewhere because it was pouring so bad you couldn't see two feet in front of you on the road and then there's the price of gas. All to not get my procedure done because someone didn't discuss anything… over the phone with me. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!
