I write this review because I can not be the only person harmed by Dr.Householder. Dr. Householder, talks over you, is dismissive of symptoms or concerns, and once her exam and ultrasound showed normal, I asked her what the next steps were because I was still in pain. Her exact words to me were, " I am not saying you are making it up, but I think your anxiety about it is the problem. I mean, what do you want for me to do, pull you into a surgery room, and shove a scope in you? I will refer you to pelvic floor PT because you have a tense vagina." Turns out I had an UTI and had to get a CT scan for kidney stones. I put off care for almost a week after seeing her because I did think I was crazy. My primary care doctor referred me to a different gynecologist who requested records AND WITHOUT seeing me put a referral in for a urologist who found the issue. It isn't so much that she didn't diagnose something outside of her speciality, I understand that. It is that she was so dismissive,… belittling, and made me feel crazy. If you are sick, scared, and looking for help finding a diagnosis or need some reassurance, she will ABSOLUTELY not listen or help you.
