came in for a meet & Greet when our internist retired. LMDK was a referral for ongoing new patient care. Met with one of the physicians to discuss philosophy and orientation. Ultimately decided this was not the right fit for us. One year later we received a billing for over $300 for that initial conversation. contacted the office to discuss and was told they would not 'consider' the bill and the fact that it arrived a year later they claimed it was their billing department. for a 20 minute consultation as a referred patient I feel the bill and the timing are unprofessional. My bad that we didn't fully review the financials in detail ahead of time. Had I known the fee works out to $900+ an hour I would not have pursued the consultation slot. Just thankful we moved our care elsewhere
