Shady billing practices, with rude, spiteful representatives. I saw a doctor for follow up care twice this year. Both appointments could have been done over Zoom, but the clinic doesn't allow Zoom anymore, and now I know why. The first appointment I was charged a standard specialist co-payment. The second bill, TMC coded differently and charged me the same as outpatient surgery. When I questioned it, the representative stated that if you walk in, you can be charged the facility fee. When I questioned why the two bills from the same year were different, she refiled the first bill to charge me more, out of spite. So, they don't do Zoom appointments so you have to walk into their clinic, then they charge you for a facility fee because you walked in, which is the same as outpatient surgery. Through all of this I was talked down to and even yelled at, just because I asked a question as to why I was now being charged more. (I did go to another pain clinic. I had specialized care with… special equipment, not just a follow-up. I was charged a normal specialist doctor co-payment. It confirmed that TMC does not have to charge like this.)
