Dr. Lovallo is an incredible doctor and surgeon. He got me in for an appointment within less than 24 hours and onto his surgical schedule within 3 days after that. He did amazing work! My recovery has been as expected and the laparoscopic incisions look great. Most importantly, he got clean margins. His bedside manner is wonderful, he takes the time to communicate everything and ensures you are comfortable with the plan. He's very positive and has great energy. I felt that I was in great hands. He also came highly recommended from other surgeons at Hackensack as the best in his field for Kidney tumors. Kidneys are his specialty and he is very experienced.

My boyfriend was diagnosed with a mass on his kidney and the hospital sent him to Dr. Lovallo. We had a consult with the doctor who immediately scheduled him for surgery and before we left his office, he looked my boyfriend in the eye and said, "You're going to be okay." The surgery was about a week later and they removed my boyfriend's kidney laparoscopically in a 2-hour surgery. Everything the doctor told us to expect in the wake of the operation was completely on target. The recovery has been quick and remarkable. We just learned that the mass was cancer but all the cancer was removed with that surgery and my boyfriend is indeed going to be okay. Not only is Dr. Lovallo skilled but he has tremendous empathy and a great personality and we feel like, thanks to him, we can put this whole episode behind us.

Dr. Lanteri is the class of urologist who has handled my post prostate cancer with the utmost professionalism. He and Dr. Lovallo's ED treatment have given me my manhood back. They are both outstanding doctors within their respective fields.

Last year I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I was told to monitor the situation. Did not feel confident that was the way to go, did another biopsy ( 6 months later), and found aggressive cancer. Was referred to Dr, Lovallo by a friend who had a radical Prostatectomy. The very first moment I met Dr. Lovallo, I was totally at ease. He was a very laid back and thoughtful doctor that took the time to truly listen to me and understood my worries and concerns. He explained the advantages of removal and all the probable and possible after affects of surgery. He was open, honest and sincere. He NEVER once pushed me into surgery, he even sent me to a radiation oncologist to explore radiation treatments. In the end, after careful and honest reflection, I chose to have the surgery. I totally trusted his expertise, and was confident I chose the right path. I know that the weeks and months ahead of rehabilitation will be something to get used to, but I know I will regain all my functions. I… know that I chose the right surgeon to perform my surgery,and with my perseverance and Gods help I look forward to a long and health life.

I have been a patient of Dr. Lovallo for 7 1/2 years now. My experience with him and this office is nothing less than exceptional. I am very happy that my gastroenterologist recommended Dr. Lovallo, as he is very thorough, patient, compassionate and the best doctor that I have had. I never feel that I am being rushed as he takes his time to make sure that I understand and that I am comfortable with what is said. This group of doctors and the staff are a fantastic group to deal with. The staff has always been willing to help and go above and beyond to make sure that I do not have to worry about the paperwork but more about feeling great. For as many times as I loose my prescriptions or forget when my appointments are, they have always been friendly and helpful.

Dr. Lovallo is an incredible doctor. He is the only urologist I trust. After seeing 3 different urologists, he was the only one who could help me in the end. Now I come from Europe to see him every 6 months. Service is always impeccable, Dr.Lovollo is so friendly and caring and even funny to be around to lighten the mood in tough situations. He is the best.
