Dr. Mhd Tarek Zakaria, MD

We have been seeing doctor Zakaria for 3 years with my 22 year old son. He started with seizures at she 19. As a new patient you usually start with the nurse practitioner and the second appointment is usually with Doctor Zakaria. He’s always been very patient during the appointments and I always communicate through my chart app when I need something or when my son has a seizure in case he needs any changes on medications or appointments orders for MRI. I usually get very quick responses.

I can’t thank Dr Zakaria enough for all the wonderful care he has given my daughter. He is very caring and spends a lot of time with us at each visit. My daughter’s health is so improved since he has been caring for her.

My wife has epilepsy and is NOW OUT OF MEDICATION due to this Doctors offices negligence!!!! My wife has called several times before running out yet keeps getting the runaround! The pharmacist has also called for refills on the medication with the same results. It seems to me that they DON’T CARE that my wife’s life and health are on the line!

I am so glad we found Dr Zakaria... He is very caring and spends plenty of time with us. I just wish the office would answer the phone.... but I am patient and I won't go to another doctor.

This office has a team of professional caring doctors. His staff and ease of appointment are incredibly easy to deal with. Dr. Zakaria gives you his full attention and is very detailed oriented. I am very happy to have found this incredible team of doctors.

He is an amazing doctor who takes his time with his patients and makes sure they fully understand what is going on. He involves the patient in the treatment plan and takes their entire life into consideration while doing do. He is the best nuerologist I have dealt with since I was diagnosed with epilepsy 5 years ago (I've see a total of 6).

He prescribed me medication that had a black box warning, and caused an allergic reaction, then he went on vacation or to a seminar for two months. The office staff couldn't get their story straight, as far as where he was. One time it was a conference and the next it was vacation. The almost never answer their phone, it just rings and rings with no voicemail. If you leave a message for him or his partner they may never call you back. I've never had such a hard time getting a hold of a doctor. We I actually saw him in person he was very nice, but good luck getting to see him. He can canceled on my first appointment and had to reschedule for a month or 2 later.
