Dr. Shanan Harkness, DO

I adore and appreciate Dr. Harkness. She is very personable, extremely sharp, and respects patients who do their research. I say that because I'm not an easy patient. I do independent research and am not afraid to challenge and go against the grain, so to speak. Dr. Harkness has been respectful of that and has encouraged me to continue that. She has invited me to find a solution I feel is intriguing via my research, and she will give me her feedback on that. Perfect match! Professional, personable, sharp, you can't really pick up what I'm putting down (as my son would say) until you actually meet her.

Dr Harkness is so kind and caring. She spent a lot of time with me and made me feel very comfortable.

I saw Dr. Harkness this morning and she was she was so kind, respectful and very understanding. I normally hate going to the gynecologist for many reasons but the main one being what seems to be a never ending list to what I find to be extremely personal soul invading questions. I mentioned to the M.A. Raeannah, also amazing and wonderful, that I’d rather get a root canal then be there. Dr. Harkness was incredible and made it clear that I was in charge and if I was uncomfortable with anything just let her know. This doctor definitely recognizes that every patient is unique. Pap was easy, painless and quick.
