During our first consultation with Dr Elassar, she provided a welcoming environment for myself and my partner that helped quell our anxiety. Dr Elassar took her time in answering our questions and explained the steps will be taking during our IVF journey with her, and her team at NYCIVF. Since then, we have begun our IVF treatment, she has devoted herself to always making the time for my partner with I all the visits. Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for our growing family.

I called DR Azim office they told me that he passed away two years ago.I was in chock.I am truly sorry to hear the loss of such great DR.He left us .May he rest in peace.My condolences to her lovely wife Dr Elassar and his family,and to all who know him,to his patients who helped them to build their family.He was fantastic DR ,extremely knowledgeable,kind and caring.He dedicated to his patients ,practice.He was supportive all the time.He spent time with his patient to listen to them and guide them.He always gave me hope and encouraged me to go forward during cycle .I am sure all his patients missed such great DR.Best Dr I have ever meet.may he rest in peace.

Dr Elassar is the most caring, smart, hands on doctor I’ve ever had. She sees you at every office visit, learns everything about you before laying out your options and ultimately a clear path forward. I can’t recommend her enough.

We came to Dr. Elassar after visiting some of the bigger hospital affiliated clinics (NYU, Cornell, etc). Our level of stress immediately went way down. Dr. Elassar took time to understand our situation and explain every detail thoroughly. She clearly thinks a mile a minute but is willing to walk you through her thought process, and her approach is tailored to each couple. The bottom line is, we were able to achieve pregnancy after our first IVF implantation. After trying for so long (including 7 IUIs) it felt like a miracle. We can't recommend Dr Elassar more highly. Don't be put off by the shared reception area. It's a small operation but that's how she works best. We (almost) always were seen by Dr Elassar every step of the way, which mattered a lot to us. She answers email and phone calls directly. She is a blessing.

Dr. Elassar has been extremely hands on during my treatment and even after I was no longer under her care and under the care of my OB. I find her and her staff to be extremely helpful through a sometimes hard process.

I found Dr. Elassar on a whim by browsing reproductive specialists in Midtown on Yelp. I had not had a period in a year despite undergoing tests and visits to the gyno that provided no answers. Right from the initial consultation, I could feel her warmth, sincerity and positive attitude, which made me feel comfortable sharing given her non judgemental nature. It was such a breath of fresh air! At the consultation, she was able to determine my condition as hypothalamic amenorrhea and set forth a game plan that would help us get pregnant. And she did, my husband and I are now expecting our first child, all thanks to her. She has remained so caring and works so hard for all her patients. She deserves every super positive review written and we cannot be more grateful to have had the chance to work with her.

Dr Elassar is literally the best doctor you will ever meet. I came to her from RMA in need of a more personal experience. I got this and more. She has an amazing personality, is kind and caring and truly loves what she does. She sees you at every visit. She spends lots to time with you, listens to all your concerns and never makes you feel rushed. She personally does every ultrasound and/or blood draw, calls you with the results and checks up on you after procedures. She is available for you 24/7. Dr Elassar is also extremely knowledgeable. She never gives up hope and is your biggest cheerleader. Going through fertility treatments is one of the hardest things I have had to do. Dr Elassar really helped me through it all. In New York City there are a lot of qualified fertility doctors, however what makes a big difference is having someone so compassionate, caring and sympathetic to your emotional state. Finding someone that is very qualified and with her personality is a rare find. I… cannot recommend Dr Elassar enough. I am so happy that I was able to get pregnant because of her. My only wish is that she could be my OBGYN.

Dr. Elassar is the best doctor we could have chosen. She's thoughtful and caring and most importantly - knowledgeable with the necessary expertise to give you the right care. I am sure, as with any other doctor in NYC, she's handling hundreds of patients at once, yet I always felt I was the only one. What I especially appreciated was her zen and optimistic outlook - cannot be overstated for any patient seeking IFV. Flawless care and compassion all around. Would highly recommend.

I was referred to Dr. Elassar by my OBGYN and I couldnâ??t be more pleased! I went into this process with little to no knowledge about the female reproductive system (embarrassingly), but Dr. Elassar took the time to walk me through each and every step in detail. Not only did she write down clear instructions after every visit, but she also took the time to call me and make sure I was doing OK. One night she even walked me through exactly how to administer a shot over the phone. I ended up doing IVF and was very relieved/thankful to become pregnant on the first try! As happy as I am to be pregnant, I was sad to leave Dr. Elassarâ??s care. My husband and I canâ??t say enough nice things about Dr. Elassar. From day one, she was so positive about my fertility journey and never once made me feel like it wasn't going to happen for me.
