Most HORRIBLE Office Visit ever. Based on the reviews and recommendations, we went to Mayo Clinic on 12th Nov 2020, with extremely high hopes and was completely DEMOLISHED by Dr.Ritaccio. The key to any doctor is to listen to the patients and/or care givers concerns and answer their questions. Dr.Ritaccio was NOT at all WILLING to LISTEN to anything that we have to say. He was the one talking non-stop with his loud voice in a small room setting during the entire consultation. Felt like he already made up his mind on what to say and spit it all out. Literally, his mask was completely wet. Everything he mentioned was extremely negative and NEGATIVE only. It may be the fact, but there is a way to convey it. And, the disappointing part was he did it all in front of the patient, who is suffering for years and looking for some hope. In addition, he started talking about his personal life that is so irrelevant, that his family is enjoying a house in Sarasota while he is struggling in an apartment in Jacksonville. And, he had to go through the horrible drive back and forth every weekend. At one stage, I had to literally force him to stop talking and started asking him a question. His body language totally changed. He put his hands on his head and looking down at the floor, while I am talking. He did not welcome any conversation at all. I have seen several doctors in my lifetime and this was THE WORST experience ever. I would strongly recommend to STAY AWAY from him. He does not even deserve a single star. Not to mention the most EXPENSIVE consultation $851/- for a single visit. NOT at all WORTH it. In general, I do not post any online reviews good or bad. The only reason I post this is that, I do not want any other patient go through this PAIN.

I was a former patient of Dr. Ritaccio's from the early 90's when I was first seen at Albany Medical Center at the age of 13. He is so knowledgeable in the field that he moved to a larger Epilepsy Center where he most likely became an asset to collegues and new patients. I still have the diagnosis of epilepsy, but Dr. Ritaccio was the first Neurologist to give myself, my family, and friends hope that my seizures will be alleviated. Bless you, Dr. Ritaccio.

Wealth of knowledge and experience, and able to explain clearly to patients in a way they can understand. Very willing to listen and take time with his patients.

Dr Ritaccio is an amazing neurologist. He helped my son when no one else could. He treated his seizure activity and relieved my son of terrible distress.

For 6 years my daughter was having seizures that could to be controlled by any meds attempted. I Thank God every day for meeting Dr. Ritaccio and having him take over her care. His treatments and concern have changed her life and ours. I cannot praise him enough. She now leads a relatively normal life and rarely has a seizure. Dr. Ritaccio will also just call to check in on her at random times just because he is that caring. We truly love this man!

Dr. Anthony Ritaccio, is unique. We've had to use many neurologists over the years, but no one but Dr. Ritaccio could help our son.

After our son suffered at the hands of neurologists, that threw him into a coma, I called the Epilepsy Society. They recommended Dr. Ritaccio. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am that he arrived in our community. He's made a tremendous difference in the quality of our son's life.

Passionate about his work and specialty. Spends a long time listening to patient, explaining dx and treatments. Interested in the individual. When seeing a patient with AMC resident exhibits enthusiasm and thoroughness as teacher and colleague to the resident. Appts are enlightening and supportive for patient.
