Dr. Beatrice Shu, MD

I sustained a left shoulder injury from a car accident in 2018 and was referred to Dr. Beatrice Shu by my primary doctor, Dr. Stephen Saylor. She was extremely personable and listened very intently to all of my concerns regarding my injury. She performed a rotator cuff repair and within three months I was pain-free and had complete use of my right shoulder! I later developed an issue with my right shoulder which she quickly diagnosed and performed a less invasive procedure which gave me literally immediate relief of the intense pain I had been in! I highly recommend Dr. Beatrice Shu to anyone in need of an orthopedic surgeon! In my humble opinion, she is absolutely the best!

After a year and a half of knee pain caused by a torn meniscus and treated with solid physical therapy, icing and ibuprofen, Dr. Shu assessed my MRI to see that I'd likely benefit from arthroscopic correction of meniscal pathology. I'm in my mid forties with a history of professional dance, recreational jogging and consistent weight training, so physical therapy was important to me post op. I could not have been more pleased with my office visits and surgery experience with Dr. Shu and her team. I immediately got relief from the knee pain that caused me to seek treatment and would recommend Dr. Shu without hesitation.
