Dr. Claudia Tellez, MD

I would not recomand her to anyone The first time I saw her was charming She ordered tests and never call me to discussed the results ! Do not expect her to be compationate, that she is not I felt like I meant nothing to her. To be an oncologist meants more then any other specialty doctor you need to care or at least pretend to care .

Dr. Tellez was professional, knowledgeable and took time to answer all of my questions. She treated me well and told me when I didn't need treatment because of the type of breast cancer I had (didn't need estrogen treatment after chemo and mastectomy). I am still alive and well after 18 years largely due to her expert care. I would refer people to her. Thank you Dr. Tellez.

This doctor was a nightmare for me, I wouldn't go to her again under any circumstances. Her "treatment" during my breast cancer was totally neglectful, she rarely returned my calls, even though I was suffering terribly from side effects of chemotherapy. When I decided to switch to another doctor, she made me do it in writing. Please consider a different doctor if you are suffering from cancer. Claudia Tellez will add to your nightmare, not alleviate it. She will charm you initially, but trust me, she won't be a good doctor.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I received false information and poor service. I was left permanently disfigured, and then dropped as a patient. Worst experience ever.

I have been an oncology patient for 7 years and have been monitored closely by Dr. Tellez. She is professional, up-to-date, caring, and cutting edge. All the specialists in the office have been top-notch.

I did not feel like she really ever took the time to figure things out between visits so the same thing was reviewed and no answers were being found and concerns I had did not feel important or that she was listening.

Staff is very inpatient with patients. Nurses do not call back until 3 to 4 calls are made to them. Getting test results seemed to be almost impossible and clearly needs to be addressed.

I was surprised to see such positive feedback. My last appointment with her was over 5 years ago, she was going to call me back about my breast cancer recurrance. I am still waiting, she never called me back or had any contact with me again. It was very unprofessional and upsetting during a very hard time.
