Dr. Daryl Giles Colden, MD

I went in for an earache and he did an unnecessary Nasopharyngoscopy on me - you have to sign a waiver beforehand because sure enough my insurance didn’t cover it. He ended up giving me ear drops which helped. He billed $1000 for the visit which was a simple remedy of ear drops. Then my daughter who was in acute excruciating pain saw him for tonsilitis and he said it was reflux and sent her home with an antacid. Taking her to the ER today for her pain. She cried leaving the office and he was completely insensitive. The whole office seems to be a racket for allergy testing. Which he also did on her even though she was coming in for tonsillitis.

Dr. Colden performed balloon sinusplasty for me about a month ago. Since I have had the procedure it has been life changing and I can’t believe the difference in my breathing. While he was performing the surgery he also removed a bunch of polyps which has also contributed to my breathing improvements. I must say, I went through a lot of pain during the procedure (mainly because I was awake and the polyps also had to be removed). At the end of the procedure I was a bit frustrated I was awake for the procedure but after a week of recovery I couldn’t recommend the procedure or Dr. Colden enough. Dr. Colden has been a tremendous help with all of my EN&T needs.

I sought a second opinion when I was diagnosed with allergies. Dr. Colden redid the test and I have no allergies. I stopped paying for unnecessary allergy shots. Dr. Colden or his staff promptly return phone calls. I highly recommend this MS.

Dr Colden has helped myself as well as my daughter. He is wonderful to deal with as well as his staff

Don't know if I want to go now he sounds like a jerk...and I have seen enough already....Help feeling sad

This is an office that is so nice to you pleasant etc, and the bedside manner of the Doctor well let say and incredible act...watch your wallets ladies and gents.

I've waited between 30 and 45 minutes to see this doctor every time I've gone there if you include time sitting and waiting in his exam room. Dr. sends in a young assistant to ask questions while you spend wait for him to come into the exam room. Then he spends 50% of the time looking at his laptop screen when he's with you. Never once has he apologized for the excessive wait I have endured. I am so frustated by the time he comes in, it is difficult for me to contain my anger. Looking for a new dr.

Very unpleasant experience. Wanted to schedule me for allergy testing before they ever met me. Then after a very brief visit they all but insisted I needed sinus surgery. When I expressed hesitation at surgery they lost all interest in me. I got a second opinion and have had wonderful success with more conservative treatment with someone willing to put in the time. It's clear how they're able to have a nice office!

I want to say that I was told by Dr. Colden that I have no problem with my sinuses because the allergy test was negative and he did not see any other possibilities. So I was told good by. Now I received a bill and I am charged for a sinus surgery that was never performed and how could be if I don;t have any problem.

Dr. Colden is a very gifted surgeon, you should feel lucky if he is you doctor. I had excellent results from my sinus surgery and a very quick recover time. I can breath so much better now that I feel like a new person.
