He did my right hip surgergery about 4 years ago. I was terrified but Dr. Smith and the anesthesiologist kept me calm and held my hand. I had anyetior hip surgery and healed fast. Ive bern trying to find Dr. Smith forever now and maybe i finally found him. But, no one answers the phone.

I needed a hip replacement in 2010, at 65 years of age. I researched types of surgeries and decided that the Anterior method was best, but found no surgeons in my state who would perform that type, so I looked elsewhere and found Dr David Smith in Illinois. He worked with me and my financial situation (MEDICARE the only insurance) and quoted me an amazing cost that blew me away! I watched his hip surgeries on YouTube, and had the surgery done in only one month from my first meeting with him. So, it’s 2019 and I have never had a problem.... most of the time forget I even had the surgery! People ask me about it, and it reminds me! I’m 74 now, and very active with 11 grandchildren who I can crawl around on the floor with, and chase balls around with... just very thankful. I recommend Dr Smith to anyone I meet who wonders. A good man.

After years of knowing Dr David Smith , and having surgery by him I would never recommend him to any one , he is a liar and literally walks away from his patients , Any physician that walks away from there practice and patients is a real piece of work , he and hi wife Dr Karen Spurgash both closed there doors on workers and patients with out a work

ONLY DR I KNOW BESIDES HIS WIFE WHO JUST WALKS AWAY FROM THERE PRACTICE AND LEAVES THERE POST OP PATIENTS WITH NO INFORMATION/ TAKES HIS HARD WORKING EMPLOYEES WITH NO JOB AND ALSO KEEPS THERE VACATION MONEY.

Dr. Smith performed my hip replacement surgery in Feb. 2017. From the first time I met him, he cared about me as a patient and explained throughly to me what to expect. He made sure that I understood everything that was going to happen and answered any questions that I would have. I was a little hesitant about havin the surrger, but after talking with him, I felt comfortable about have the surgery and it's the best thing that I could have done. After surgery and therapy, he made me feel comfortable about my rehabilitation and he made sure that I was not walking with a limp. Everyone that knows I had hip replacement, say that they can't tell. What a blessing...that was one of my concerns. I pray that I never have to get anotherhip replacement, but in case I do, I will definitely go back to Dre. Smith. Thank you Dr. Smith and keep up the good work.

I was under Dr. David Smith's care for a torn tendon. When I became discouraged thinking that I would never be healed, he encouraged me to continue therapy and the exercises. Well, he was right! The pain is gone and I now have complete range of motion. I was able to resume my work-out routine and golf again. Dr. Smith cares about his patients. Thanks Doc, for keeping me in the game!

Dr Smith fixed my knee due to a baseball injury. I was a catcher so my knees were very important. I was 19 at the time and my college physician was just saying cortisone cortisone injections. didn't help at all. so a friend suggested Dr Smith. to evaluate. Dr Smith was straight up and to the point said I needed a Lateral release on my left knee. I agreed. 1 day surgery. was back catching in 3 weeks. Had ML tryouts and played minor league with no issues. I'm 50 now and still playing softball with no knee issues at all. Thank You Dr Smith for making my dream come true.
