Dr. David Scott Brown, MD

Dr. Brown and the staff at ouch orthopedics is so beyond AMAZING!! We went to a few other doctors for my knee before finding this place and all the other doctors didn't seem knowledgeable, didn't tell me their thoughts, and continued to make me pay them for giving me no answers, they made me setup more and more appointments when there was no reason!! Dr. Brown told me, "I don't need you to come and tell me you're feeling good, so if you're doing fine, that's awesome! But if you end up wanting the surgery or it's not getting better, then setup an appointment!" He isn't after money, he's after getting his patients better!

Dr. Brown made us feel,very secure, and that our daughter was in good hands. Highly recommend.

Dr Brown has been both of my children’s orthopedic Dr now for the past 6 years. Both if my kids are very athletic and into a lot of sports which means a lot of injuries. Dr Brown has always be the most professional and knowledgeable Dr I’ve ever known. I’ve also referred at least 10 OTS people to him who love him as well. It’s unfortunate my kids will soon be adults and will no longer be able to see Dr Brown. Best Orthopedic Dr Ever. Thank you Dr Brown for everything over the years.

Best pediatrics Orthopedic doctor in the area! Son had two broke arms repaired by Dr. Brown and both were great experiences minus the obvious broke arm part.... I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Brown is an excellent surgeon! He is very personable, straightforward, and knowledgeable. A big bonus - the kids like him, too!

Dr. Brown treated my daughter as a whole patient. He asked all about her life and what she valued most and customized a plan of action for her instead of just a a checklist approach.

I will never recommend Dr. Brown. He is an insensitive Doctor. I brought my One year old in with a broken arm. When they were putting on her cast she was terrified and crying. Instead of being sensitive to the fact that my child was scared he asked if she always acts like this. So while I was holding my screaming child I was having to explain that of course she is not like this. She is just scared. Every visit after he seemed to have snarky comments. You would think that being a doctor that deals strictly with children would know how to handle an upset child instead of making a parent and child who is already going through the bad experience of a broken bone feel worse. The rest of the staff was very patient and understanding.

My first and foremost complaint of this visit was that i was not informed in a timely manner that the Dallas office had been closed and had to drive to Grapevine. I was called at 2 pm the day before our appt. while i was at work. This upset greatly as i had other appts that day and took the day off work. HAD i had ample notification, i could have rearranged my day and not been so caught off guard. On top of that, we waited for almost an hour.. This mishap on the office staffs part, destroyed my whole day and i had to cancel the other appts for my other daughter. This doesn't mean much to them, but the lack of planning on their part caused a lot of damage in my schdule, and left me feeling like this office is disorganized..

My daughter, 17 years old, and I were very impressed with Dr Brown. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with children. He spent time with us and was very personable. I hope my daughter never needs another cast, but if she does we will visit him again. I would also like to say thank you to the office staff. We called on Friday afternoon and was given an appt on Monday morning. Thanks again
