Dr. Ellen Levin Taylor, MD

Dr. Ellen Taylor is awesome in her profession. I've been her patient for more than a decade and I love how she is thorough, asks pertinent questions that I may not have remembered to ask and she gets the job done quickly. The environment is warm and so is Jodi, who is on the front-line and has been there since I've started!!! Dr. Taylor was my mom's GYN and I'm recommending her to my daughter who is a reviewologist!!!lol Seriously, if you're like my daughter, stop looking and give Dr. Taylor's office a call!!!

I went to Dr. Taylor for the first time a couple days ago. Making the appointment was easy. Staff were friendly. I had to wait a little bit in her office but it was well worth the wait. She was very thorough and caring, she spent time explaining everything and answering all my questions and concerns. I read some of these reviews before going for my appointment, and I have to confess, I was a bit nervous about the pelvic exam! That’s true, she is fast when it comes to it, but giving the nature of the exam, I came to appreciate her being fast and done with it quickly! She spends a lot of time with you, so definitely she is not trying to save some time when it comes to pelvic exams! She does it fast so you can come down and get dressed faster! I really liked the way that she treated me. Definitely recommend her.

I'm still in a state of shock after such an aggressively ROUGH, FAST, exam. In all of my years, I've never had such a ROUGH, PAINFUL female exam. I'll be surprised if I don't have any internal injuries. I can equate it to being jack-hammered. I am left stunned, and tender, from the experience. There's something very wrong here.

Dr. Taylor was my Gyn. for several years, but I finally had enough of her extremely rough pelvic exams. They were always so rough and fast I felt like she was always trying to beat a land-speed record, and I felt like A hog-tied calf in a rodeo after she finished. Her medical knowledge is first-rate, though, and this kept me returning. She solved a persistent UTI issue, and did excellently in a laparoscopic surgery where there were unexpected findings. Her mercurial moods and one especially rough pap smear finally made me reach my limit, though. She is happiest and in the best mood during surgery, lousiest in the exam room. She should stick to surgery only.

I went to Dr Taylor for the first time actually for a second opinion. She was wonderful and took her time with me. I had concerns and she was very reassuring and calming. I will continue to use her! It is very rare that you get someone who has a good bedside manner!! Thanks Dr. T.

I've been seeing Dr Taylor for about 2 years now and I am very pleased. She is a doctor that you can talk too. I haven't had any urgent issues with her but I feel I am being well taken care of.

Extremely rough!!!!I I expect my gynecologist to be gentle., not treat me like she was kneading bread.

I have been a patient for almost 20 years. I look forward to seeing her and her caring staff every December. She is knowledgeable, caring and empathetic (My husband even likes her!). I wish she could be my primary care physician. If you are looking for a great gyno, Dr taylor is it!!!!

Dr. Taylor is very smart, friendly, and helpful. She is good for routine matters as well as problems.

My experience in being Dr. Taylor's patient for several years is that she is consistently helpful and spends a generous amount of time with patients. She is extremely knowledgeable and looks out for her patients. The office staff is also friendly and punctual.
