Dr. is self serving and egotistical !

I have been seeing Dr. Mahmood-Psychiatrist for several years and she been an excellent doctor who got me on the right medication for my illness as soon my first visit. She is a very professional, gives you tough love with care and is very organized. Also has a beautiful office. I have tremendously improved over the years with her therapy and treatment. I would highly recommend Dr. Mahmood to all those that are looking to get help and improve and live a normal life. Josephine

I have been seeing Dr Mahmood for several years and she got me the right meds from day one for the following disorders: Anxiety and Panic Attacks following Major Depression. The meds, treatment and talk therapy has tremendously improved my life. Dr. Mahmood is very professional, extremely organized, and shows care with tough love. In took me 10 years to finally find the right psychiatrist and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to improve their life.

Our family has been seeing Dr. Mahmood for nearly 18 months now and I feel like we hit the lottery. She treats our daughter for ADHD & anxiety and me for anxiety and OCD. She is a true professional who is honest, direct and doesn't say what you want to hear. Rather, she holds us accountable for our behaviors which forces us to make the changes necessary to live healthy lives. I know I am a better wife, mother & person because of the work I'm doing with Dr. Mahmood & my daughter has also made tremendous progress under her care. She is truly wonderful.

She does not have the ability to provide psychiatric treatment. She deliberately performed fraudulent activities. For example, she does not provide you billing statement instead she gives you a hand typed note of your bill. At least 3 times, she charged me more than double and submitted claims to the insurance company when I did not visit her. I have already filed a report to Insurance Company with proofs. Lastly, she has no interest in the patient's well being as she does not take any interest. I find her behavior quite cruel.

Don't even know where to begin -- every time I walked into her office I spent the whole time explaining the same situation rather than any progress I was making. Instead of trying to find a solution when I told her my medication was not working for me she doubled the amount I was taking, at one point having me on 3 medications at once. She NEVER answered her phone, making/canceling appointments with her was near impossible. When I told her I wouldn't be returning she made some rude comments and hung up on me. Taken me months to even decide to find another doctor because she turned me off to the idea so much. Do yourself a favor and go see anyone else.

I had to discontinue my treatment with Dr. Mahmood due to her unprofessional and inappropriate treatment approach. She also personally attacked me during our session.

he voice of truth when you refuse to accept what's right in front of you. No holds bar, may come across as abrupt, even rude - if you read previous reviews, but that's likely because you have already self diagnosed, or think you know best - and you're either arguing with her, or wasting her time. I looked right into the woman's eyes and saw what i already knew.. but was too afraid to admit. Thank you.

My family and I had a great experience with Dr. Mahmood. I wanted someone for my daughter who would be straightforward, direct, and not sugarcoat, and that is what we got. She is experienced and knowledgable, and she helped my husband and I understand our roles in how to help my daughter as well. She has been a huge factor in helping my child continue to do well in school and in life.
