Very poor experience. Talking over me, "Mam, I don't have time to answer your questions, I have other patients." After several minutes of waiting on him. Condescending, not patient centered. Felt pressured to look at unnecessary pharmaceuticals. Find another physician.

I was referred to this Dr. for MS and I travel 4 hours to San Antonio and get better service to see my actual Neurologist. But because there is no Neurologist in the Valley who has a clue about Multiple sclerosis I was referred here. It was supposed to be if I have a flare up that can leave me not walkIng etc he is supposed to be my go to Dr. Unfortunately, he is not ever available. The appointments are months away and when I do get an appointment they call me a day before to cancel because he is going to be out of town and always give me an appointment for like 3 months later . Which is ridiculous. The staff is. Not helpful what so ever. I understand policies. As far as being late 5 -15 minutes but these people want you there 30 minutes before. But say your appointment is at 8:00?? Then tell me my appointment is 7:30 am. Unfortunately, the office has bad reviews because of the way they treat the patient, turn patients away, and are always rescheduling. Then when you do get to see him.… He tells you to just do Yoga. There are 3 Drs that are affiliated with each other in their office. I’m sure they are great Drs. But too good too see patients with neuro problems. I wish they would understand, they are dealing with patients with history of seizures, some have memory loss or or other Neurological issues. I do not recommend this office. Unfortunately most of us have don’t have many options here in the Valley. Worst experience in Drs office if I had to say , I would not recommend this office or Dr to anyone. The staff lies, because it’s their job. I understand that. I give it s zero rating !

I was 15 minutes late. So they re-schedule the appointment 4 months away. Big waste of time. It took me 3 month to get an appointment.

does not show concern for his patient and is not very helpful for referrals to other doctors. no consideration for what his patient is going thru.

Dr Rivera is a very good proffesional. Knows how to deal with the patient andmakes you feel good.

Misdiagnosed. Spends no time listening, just wants to hurry for the $$. Lied about actually reading my MRI's. Followed up with another more qualified Neurologist for accurate diagnosis.
