Dr. Frank E Velasco, PhD

I cannot put into words how much Dr. Frank has helped me. I was going through a very difficulty time during a crossroads in my life and Dr. Frank helped me recognize my inner strength and confidence to pull myself out and improve my life and well being. I truly loved his approach in helping me recognize the steps I needed to take in maximizing my potential in both my personal and professional life. I highly recommend him as he is a very good listener. I very much appreciated his concern and awareness of issues going on with me. I am now in a very happy place in life and am optimistic about my future in what I’ve built.

Tried to get me to watch a particular "very helpful" movie on YouTube for several weeks that I kept putting off. Turned out to be pseudoscience bull. That coupled with the fact that he talked more than I did encouraged me to stop seeing him.

I called him & we exchanged messages for 10 days. He left messages to return his call 3 or 4 times. After connecting, I explained why I wanted to see him. He asked my insurance. After telling him LA Care (which lists him as a provider) he said he wasn't taking new patients. Right. He could have left that in his message. Just didn't want to take LA Care.

This doctor accepted my insurance, however since he had never processed through this particular provider before (they partner with ValueOptions) he wouldn't even entertain the idea of trying. 15 minutes would have proven this to be a simple process, but he just flat out said I'm not very familiar with your provider and I don't want to deal with it.
