Still in the parking lot and leaving a review. My wife came to see this arrogant, pompous ass in hopes that she may get some answers to an ongoing issue with her wrist. This man was so curt, rude, rough, and cussed saying the f word, GD and many other things. Couldn’t wait to get out the room, damn near yelled at my wife when she asked why this or that. He even said he doesn’t care if people don’t like him when I told him his bedside manner was sorely lacking. He said he doesn’t care if people leave negative reviews and he doesn’t like doing clinic. Never in my life have I seen anyone, supposedly a professional, behave in such a childish and abrasive/abusive manner towards a paying customer. If you are keen on being abused, by all means see this doctor

Please run! I broke my clavicle and and he maimed me during 4 surgeries to fix it, he was an absolute butcher! Had to find another surgeon that knew what he was doing to fix me. RUN FAR FROM THIS MAN!!! He's creepy, unqualified, and arrogant .

Left my hand with unnecessarily ugly scar, didn't meet him till surgery & he didn't introduce himself, plus the office rescheduled my surgery 5 times. Very unhappy with results!! Strongly don't recommend this practice...

This place is the BEST! They are a place they really cares about their patients and it SHOWS. They understand what you need and explain all of your options. The extra effort is WHY I keep going back!

Made several mistakes on my knee replacement, ignored my complaints and tried to blame me for my pain, didn’t care when I had an infection and spent 5 days in hospital, he didn’t come see me till day 4. Ignored my complaints for 6 months every time giving different reasons for my pain, went for second opinion only to find out without having another surgery to fix Dr Myo’s mistakes my leg would just get worse. Found out how bad Dr Myo messed up my leg when my revision surgery was done. Stay far far away from this man. Oh and bedside manners are just horrible

I went in with an avulsion fracture in my fifth finger. I was told that I do not need surgery but I was very close and was to wear a splint for about 6-7 weeks. I came back in two weeks as a checkup and therapy as I was told to and he forced my finger way further down than I could even with me saying how much it hurt. He was very rough with my broken finger and seemed to forget it was even broken. My finger was in more pain when I left than when I came. He also seemed very rushed, even with the fact that the office was empty. The radiologist is very nice though and the assistant has good bed side manner but also ignores the patients pain. I DO NOT recommend going to him especially if you do need surgery because I can only imagine how much more painful he would make the post-op.

This surgeon left me maimed. Please choose another surgeon if you care about yourself/family members. There are others who are really good. Dr. Gary Purcell is one of the best, along with Stephen Hatfield. As long as George Myo continues to remove my posts, I will repost. Consider yourself warned. Stay away from this surgeon

- Beware - Fractured my 5th metatarsal and went to see Dr. Myo. I paid my co-pay, X-Rays were taken and I was advised to wait for Dr. Myo in a room. Mr. Myo walked in hurriedly, squeezed my foot, advised I should start wearing a regular shoe. Great! Even though he seemed rushed and was a bit impersonal, I thought fantastic. I can start moving on from this injury. Fast forward a week later, I find my insurance was billed for 'surgery' at $559.00, which they covered a portion and left me with a remaining $200+. None of these charges were disclosed to me prior or during my visit. If they were, never would I have gone. I called and spoke with their billing department who advised me, the almost $600 bill was for 'after care' for 180 days, if needed. If that is the case, what is my copay for?? I challenged the exorbitant amount and was told I would get back to when the doctor was in, which was Thursday. Thursday came and went, so I decided to visit the office to inquire. While Dr. Myo was kind enough to see me, he advised I should be 'grateful' that I am 'only' paying that amount and he has to cover his overhead and processing of my visit, as well as his expertise, and 'that's just how it is'. Again, what is my co-pay for?? While he offered me a 35% off my bill, he did not offer to have the charges removed, which was the purpose of my visit. I feel these undisclosed charges are criminal and Dr. Myo and his staff should be held accountable and possibly investigated for misrepresentation of services.

please don't use this dr. he is horrible he fixed the tendon in my hand. at my one week appointment I thought that I would get to talk to him about the surgery. nope not a chance. he came in with his PA and was explaining that he had to extend my tendon. so I waited for him to say hi and tell me how he felt the surgery went. nope I was very wrong he come over to me and was looking at my hand. he tuned it over and forced my stiff swollen finger down to my palm. as he was doing this my finger started to bleed a lot. he told his PA to get him a lot of 4x4"s. he grabbed some and than when the completely soak throw that stack he put more on. not once did he ever look to see why I was bleeding so much he just changed out the gauze. then he walked out the door never said hi or bye. when his MA came back into the room he tried to put steri strips but could not get then to stick. I was told to use band-aids. when I got home I went to change to bandage and noticed that when he forced my finger down he tore out three of the stitches.

No bedside manner whatsoever, did not respond to my questions and concerns. Following surgery for a broken ankle/tibia I developed debilitating pain in knee which was swollen, I could not bend and difficult to walk. Did not even look at the knee, and said it was related to the ankle, but I did not experience the pain until about six weeks in. Refused to perscribe anything to ease my pain. His office staff is the most incompetent I have worked with, confusing my appt. on more than one occassion and overheard other patients dealing with the same thing. His assistant is a carbon copy.

left several messages regarding needed surgery, after calling 3 times got a call back with tentative date (pushed out 2 weeks from original scheduled date) then left min 6 more calls trying to get answers with the last being the tentative surgery date and no response! Dr. Myo might be good but is staff needs to be replaced with competent people!

Referred to Dr. Myo by GP should have never gone. He is rude, condescending, accusatory, does not listen, cuts you off, argumentative, money hungry and extremely defensive!!! Wife had a cyst on hand, he did surgery, never came out to explain anything to me. In fact he actually argued with me, yelled at me that he spoke with me then turned around and said if he came out and didn't answer when he called he didn't have time to wait and explain what he did.. Um what?? I attempted to explain his office was impossible to get ahold of and was rude when you finally spoke with them. He became extremely argumentative almost combative..really? Isn't he supposed to be a professional!! when he examined my wife hand he was beyond rough not caring she was in extreme pain and blamed her for not being able to move her hand. He got in her face pointing with his finger, I was so angry I had to calm myself down and told him to back away and get his finger out of her face!! I mean I was flabbergasted that this "Doctor" was behaving like this. He told us patients rarely saw him after surgery they he took pride in his staff and work and that he explained everything from start...false!!! Left stitches in my wife's hand and denied more where in there..her GP took the rest out!! I finally told him what were the results of cyst, he went to get results and threw it at me when he came back in office. I asked what does all this mean he repeated what was on paper and would not explain anything to us!! His office never followed up with us we had to call and gave us conflicting Information. He also argued with me and told me office called and we probably ignored call!!!!!We will be contacting the medical boards and complaining. he is money hungry and it shows!! Staff is just as rude and incompetent as he and it makes sense why now. SAVE YOURSELF SOME STRESS AND FIND A COMPETENT DOCTOR!! DO NOT GO TO DR. MYO!!

This doctor is mad. Stay away from him. He does not listen to patients, not helpful at all. He needs to learn good behavior before working as a doctor.

Never in my life experienced a dr. Like this. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MAN he is horrible!!!!! The only good thing was the xray lady, she was very nice.

This man screwed up my arm it took 4 operations to correct what he screwed up , he needs to be band from the medical field

My husband went to see Dr. Myo after having 4 wrist surgeries where the hardware continued to fail. He pumped my husband up that he would treat him and recommended that due to his pain and previous surgeries, he would redo a complete wrist fusion along with a new diagnosis of his elbow and shoulder due to the long ongoing wrist issues. the charge for this was 45K and he did surgeries. Since this was a WC case he was contacted by our attorney to respond to the initial claim he gave us in the begining to have the surgery, but when our attorney contacted him, once he had been paid by the insurance, this was his comment to a question from his patients lawyer: Are you in agreement with the permanent impairment rating from the WC IME, his response was, it is not my job to spend time answering questions from you. i will answer them if subpeonaed (meaning paid by the State of Arizona) but i will spend no time responding to any email from you. please do not bother my staff anymore or i. if you did not realize we are trying to run a surgical practice here. Since when does a doctor not be able/available to give a medical opinion on a surgery he suggested and did? What a doctor we choose, please do not make the same mistake we did. We are in the process of making a complaint to American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and his associated hospitals, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, Orthapedic Surgery & Chandler Regional Medical Center. This MD is all about MONEY, pay attention to his reviews, I only wish that I had but I will be filing reports until the cows come home on this doctor.

My initial experience with this doctor was good -- until he performed hand surgery and knee surgery. The knee surgery (I was told) was the cause for 2 hospitalizations and weekly testing for blood clots, and blood thinner meds last 16 months. The hand surgery resulted in my needing THREE additional repair surgeries including re-attaching the base of my thumb to a new tendon, removal of bone mass which did not exist prior to Myo's surgery, abnormal tissue growth & testing, and release of excess fluids. A cast had to be removed due to blisters on arm, hand & fingers. At my testimony complaint to the Arizona Medical Board, this doctor showed up and bad-mouthed me and attacked my character, saying several times "the patient doesn't have the capacity to undrstand..." in a desperate attempt to salvage his license. I just want my hand fixed (thumb remains disconnected and useless) and I feel Myo should pay for my hospitalization, testing, surgical and travel costs fir ongoing testing. DO NOT go to this doctor. He seems to go too fast/too many patients/inattentive.

Terrible doctor! He has no concept of bedside manner, let alone how to talk to a person. He is dismissive, arrogant and condescending. I wish I would have waited for a reputable surgeon to come back from vacation. Dr. Myo spends two minutes and is halfway out the door. He did not take any time to explain surgery, risks and recovery as he said I had no choice in the matter. Dr. Myo should not have been admitted to medical school, let alone given a license to "practice" medicine.

Dr. Myo did a great job and I would highly recommend him. I am in my mid 40s and I was training for Ironman Arizona when I had a bike accident in which I broke my left clavicle and several ribs. I went to see Dr. Myo 11 days after my accident. I wish I had seen him earlier. He took X-rays at his office and immediately went over them with me. I quickly learned a valuable lesson. Dont trust the evaluation of an emergency room. Go see a specialist. When I met with Dr. Myo he patiently listened to me explain how I had been a swimmer all my life and I just recently won a 10k swim which involved almost 3 hours of swimming. I emphasized how important it was to me to have fully functional left arm and shoulder to be able to return at 100% to my active lifestyle. Dr. Myo made me feel like a V.I.P. patient and went over all my options. In fact he even humored me when I requested an X-ray my right clavicle (which I had previously broken twice) for comparison. Once the decision to go forward with surgery was made, Dr. Myo had me scheduled for surgery the very next morning. Years ago in another surgery I had a bad experience with staples and asked Dr. Myo if he would make sure to use sutures. He went one step further and used dissolvable sutures and left me with an incision site that a plastic surgeon would be impressed with. In my experience I was never able to finish a single magazine article in Dr. Myos waiting room. I was always quickly ushered in and taken for new X-rays on follow up visits. If I happened to pass Dr. Myo in the hall he knew me by name. On some visits I never even got to sit down. Not only is Dr. Myo an excellent surgeon, he has a friendly and helpful staff and knows how to run an efficient office and hire the right people to assist him. Dr. Myo took a difficult break and fixed it. I am back to 100%. I dont usually take the time to write reviews, but as a professional and business owner myself, I can truly appreciate the effort it takes to achieve this kind of excellence. I have never had a better experience with a doctor. Thanks Dr. Myo.
