yea ,yea the wait is long, but the docs are worth it ! dr k is very charming and really knowlegable!

I was a patient of Dr. Kanj for over 8 years. To be fair, he has done some good things for me and he did try. He tries to maintain a good sense of humor to make you laugh. The negatives are the following. 1 - Throughout the entire time I was under his care the wait time has always been between 2-4 hours, with 3 hours being most common. There is no excuse for that and when you complain to him about it he often unfairly blames the office staff for making the schedule to tight. He does not manage time well. 2 - The office uses a computer for scheduling appointments but that is it. There is no patient portal to go to for referencing or retrieving your own medical records. This is a sore point with me. It really matters sometimes to everyone at one point or another. At one point I had asked him to please tell me what my weight and blood pressure was on a particular date or for a copy of my records of a particular time period, he couldn't do it. He said the paper files are… stored away in boxes and it would be difficult to find it. This is very concerning. 3 - If you go to another doctor and they ask for copies of your medical records from the office they are always the last office to reply with the records if at all. 4 - I had complained to Dr. Kanj for years regarding my chronic fatigue. His answer was well your labs all look good. I was really concerned one day, I woke up and my vision was spinning. I was feeling light headed and concerned. I somehow managed to drive myself to his office to be checked, as I used him as my primary as well. My blood pressure in the office was 85/46. The office staff did the ANSR test which they have done in the past. I could not complete the test during the stand phase because I was not feeling well. I was white as a piece of paper. Dr. Kanj told me to change when I took two of my meds and if I didn't feel better in a couple weeks to come back. I told him there and then, based on how I feel and at the blood pressure I am at, if I am not better in the next 24 hours I will go to the hospital. Well I did just that and went on to see a cardiologist and neurologist. The bottom line is I was diagnosed with autonomic dysfunction through a QSART test at JFK. I asked for copies from Dr. Kanj's office to look at what prior ANSR tests done at their office reported. It upset me to find that their very ANSR test that they use indicated in the past that I have autonomic dysfunction flags of concern. WHY WHY was this never reported to me or taken action upon. 5 - There are other things that have occurred that I won't divulge, however I have had ENOUGH. I will not be returning there any more.

I have to wait a lot after my appointment time to see Dr. However, it is worth the wait be cause he sees to all my medical concerns and takes time to explain things to me.

I have only seen Dr. Kanj once and do have a followup appointment. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and good at what he does. However, time management is not one of his better qualities. I waited 3-4 hours to he seen, and this, according to patients in the waiting room, is the norm. Not only is this rude, but a complete lack of regard of patients time. A manager is needed at this office to assist with time management.

wonderful Dr kind, caring, thorough, takes a lot of time with you However, 1 1/2 hour wait Minimum to see him, ALWAYS Another hour or more in his private office, cannot deal with this even though I am very fond of him

Both Dr's are truly superb.

Never seen a place like this. Wait times in excess of 3 hours, unprofessional staff, Dr, overbooks and can't take the time to listen or explain things since he has to run to another room so he can submit another bill to insurance. Run like a profit making business not a caring professional.

Wait time at this office is ridiculous. I waited more than 3 hours in the waiting room and another 45 minutes in the exam room. Staff confirmed that there is ALWAYS a wait. Dr. is nice but "not worth the wait."

I came to this doctor because he was the only one I could get an appointment with in a reasonable amount of time. That should have been a warning sign. I saw him on 3 occasions. Each time had about a hour wait. After my last appointment he instructed me to call him in a week for my test results. I called the office 4 times, never spoke with the doctor, never got my test results. After finding a new doctor I discovered I never had what he diagnosed me with and any competent endocrinologist would have figured that out.

1st visit 3 hour wait time. 2nd visit 2 1/2 hour wait time. Won't be a third time. He may be a charmer and sound like he cares, but over booking patients with a 2-4 hour wait is uncalled for. I saw a few people leave the office. I called before I left to see if he is running behind-was told have to come in for appointment time. Office staff is wonderful, but has to follow his all mighty rules.
