Dr. James Gregory Hendricks, MD

New patient visit. Told me I had enlarged prostate which I've had for 25+ years. Stood there and ultimately, reluctantly gave me a digital exam. Waste of my time. He asked no relevant questions. Looks like he's got one foot out the door to retirement. AVOID, but good luck.

I went to see this doctor as he was highly recommended by my primary doctor. He said Dr. Hendricks has taken care of many of his patients with problems not handled well with other doctors, and that they all came out better after seeing him. He has a phenomenal reputation of having hands of gold. Well, I did see him and he was such a wonderful person to meet, and he cut right to the chase as to the cause of the problem. I had my surgery done, and I did great afterwards. My life has vastly improved since! He has to be the best around at what he does!

I went to see Dr. Hendricks for some issues, and he right away listened to my problems and explained very clearly what the cause could be and immediately improved the issues! We tried medications at first, but when those didn't work he recommended a laser procedure to help me not go to the bathroom so often. I had the procedure done, and things are so much better I can not thank him enough!! I used to get up 5 times a night, now I do not get up at all, and my stream is as strong as when I was a teenager. He has a great bedside manner and always makes you feel at ease, complete with humorous urology jokes. He has a very refreshing positive outlook and good view on life. I would strongly recommend him to anybody who has urological problems!

Dr. Hendricks has been great as a urologist. It sometimes takes a little bit of time to get into the office due to how busy Hemet Valley Urology is, but it is well worth it. He listens to everything important you have to say and is great at telling you exactly what is going on and causing the issue, and then giving you a plan that you understand and that gives you hope! So far, all hopes have been answered and things are much better since seeing him!

Anybody who posts a bad comment here may have had an unpleasant medical experience, but this doctor is certainly not a quack and is well respected in the community because of his phenomenal surgical outcomes and the care he takes towards his patients. Myself and another member of my family have been seeing him after our primary physician told us he is the best around for his specialty and gives superior care compared to the closest university centers. We have always been treated very kindly and in a professional manner by he and his staff, and he is very clear at explaining to us everything we need to know. He is well trained and is known for keeping up with the latest techniques. I strongly recommend him to anybody who seeks a good urologist!
