Dr. John Joseph Biordi, MD

I was a long time patient of Dr.Biordi’s and had seen him for several years before I became pregnant and lost my job so I had to use the state insurance . I began to notice he was short and rude with his treatment of me . I think it had to do with my insurance and the fact it was Medicaid . I had to have a small procedure done by him which was slightly painful and he basically told me to stop complaining when I told him it hurt . He was very insensitive to the fact it was uncomfortable and very abrupt in his manner . I started to feel uncomfortable with him and to make matters worse there was some type of issue where my coverage was mistakenly terminated through no fault of my own and he wouldn’t see me for a $56 after years of being his patient and him knowing my situation . He refused to bill the insurance and instead elected to drop me . I believe he used it as an excuse . I’d worked for doctors for years prior to becoming unemployed and they’d never offered insurance prompting me… to have to use the state insurance and he knew this . Very disappointed in the careless matter in which I was treated after years of being his patient . I also suspect it was racially motivated for several reasons . I can’t explain the change in his behavior and it’s disheartening that after so many years he couldn’t have cared less .You’d think a GYN would have more empathy .

Dr. Biordi was recommended to me by a mutual friend after moving to Mineola last year. For my new patient visit, Dr. Biordi saw me in his office for a consult before the exam. He went over my history in detail and we spent some time chatting about mutual interests. I’ve never felt so valued as a patient. This is what medicine is about! I can recommend Dr. Biordi highly without reservation.

Dr Biordi is a compassionate person and an excellent doctor. He has genuine good bedside manner. He is responsible with follow up and I have the utmost level of trust in him. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an ob/gyn and I have numerous times with all those patients coming back thrilled with that recommendation.

Went to Dr Biordi's Mineola office today for testing and was treated so kindly gently by Lynn the medical tech I have always had excellent and wonderful care by Dr Biordi and all of his staff at both offices, Lynntook away any fear I had before the testing

. Does not follow up with any additional testing to accurately diagnosis. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. John Bordi and staff are amazing

I have been with Dr. Biordi for 18 years and I think he is wonderful. He cares for the "whole patient" not just...the obvious.I have talked to him about my personal life not just gynecological issues and he cares. His staff in Mineola leaves a bit to be desired but the Glen Head office is great.

This doctor does not really listen to what the patient's needs are.
