My son had been going to Dr. Grosso for 17 years. He was the only doctor who helped him. His staff on the other hand is rude and they are losing patients because of it. Now they won't accept my son's insurance because he has OBAMACARE. They are mean about it also. We had other problems with them in the past. They don't get back to you and the staff is not helpful in any way. Its a shame such a good doctor has such a horrible staff.
I admit to being a little leery after some of these reviews BUT the staff was nice and friendly and I saw Dr. Grosso after only waiting 10 minutes. He listened, tested, and diagnosed and gave me his recommendations. I would definitely recommend him and I will be going back.
Dr. Grosso's employees do not care about the patients. My father was told he had cancer from Dr. Grosso on Thursday. The following Monday we call, left a message then called back, rang for 15 minutes, no one answered. Call the next day to have records sent to a family friend who is a doctor, the receptionist said the records are in the basement, again after waiting 15 minutes on hold (at this point we already went directly to the radiologist and have the results in our hands) then we faxed the release of records back to them. They never sent the records. The next day was the appointment in the city, the doctors office did not have the records. I called the emergency line and the regular line - 20 minutes later we get through and the records are somehow in the basement again. Since my father was in the city with minutes left to his appointment I left work and drove to Dr. Grosso's myself to speak with the office manager. 1. She told me it was my fathers fault for not making a follow up appointment. I think this is disgusting, especially when they had the results in their hands and they told him that he had cancer.2. Their office is way understaffed3. Total lack of caring and respect4. If I ran my business like this I would have been under MANY years agoMyself and 3 other people will no longer be going to see Dr. Grosso anymore. This was the worst experience in a doctors office.
