Dr. Michael John Medvecky, MD

I was referred to Dr Medvecky by his colleague Dr Donohue for further care following lower extremity trauma. Dr Medvecky is awesome. I am a Nurse and his care was outstanding. He took the time to listen to me and explain his course of action and more importantly why. Where many surgeons would have gone ahead and did surgery according to the MRI findings he did a hands on exam and suggested a totally different reason for all of my pain and treated it immediately. We did end up in the OR and he removed some of my hardware which was the root cause of my pain. My OR experience and follow up were fantastic. I received top notch care from start to finish. I never felt less then respected. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Medvecky.

I'm baffled where these positive reviews come from. I've seen Medvecky for two separate injuries, and both times he put in the most minimal effort I could imagine. It was like pulling teeth to get him to explain anything. He wouldn't even suggest a course of action unless I repeatedly asked him. It felt like he just wanted me out of there, since he didn't know or care enough to help me get better.

After a motor vehicle crash I had 3 of the 4 ligaments in my knee damaged. I went to 4 docs who told me they wouldn't touch my knee because the damage was too extensive before I found dr Medvecky. I was starting to think that I was never going to walk again. He had me in the OR in 3 days and it has now been 5 months and I am walking well. He has a wonderful bedside manner and very knowledgeable!

He is the BEST #!!!

Dr. Medvekky was by far the best orthopedist I have ever been to..Caring, did not rush me..took the time to listen..Does not rush to surgery, or drugs..Am feeling so blessed to have been referred to him by my massage therapist..Thank you, Dr.....jc..
