Dr. Mitchell Scott Fineman, MD

Dr. Fineman is at the top of his game. I had 2 macular holes. One was new and the other was 3 1/2 years old. He fixed both!!!

This doctor initially helped my vision. Actually, he restored my vision. As time went on, and it was a few months , my vision steadily grew worse and I was in constant pain. This really nice doctor turned on me when I was at my most frustrated place. I could not see and I was in pain. At their request, I left mid Atlantic retina corporation and had my four and final surgery in the city. Dr. Fineman performed perfect surgery on my eye. I saw him on a Thursday and Friday the next day he repaired much completely detached retina! His care was excellent! After the recovery time, my vision from that eye is so fantastic. There were no problems or complications and Dr. Fineman has an awesome bedside manner.

My 96 yr. old mother has been treated by Dr. Fineman for her macular degeneration for many, many years. He has saved her vision from getting any worse. I would say that he invests himself in her care each and every visit and will discuss any questions or concerns with you until you have a full understanding of the situation. We adore him and his entire staff. They are friendly and caring professionals. For us, wait time has never been an issue. The office is beautiful and easy to find with ample parking.

Was very satisfied with the staff and Dr. Fineman, he was very caring and made me feel very at ease especially given that I had to have laser treatment.

My appointment today with Dr Fineman went just as well as all my previous visits, if not better. The new location in Cherry Hill was easy to get to. was bigger & more comfortable than the previous one. Dr Fineman's staff were very nice & thorough. Dr Fineman was very prompt, professional, personable & thorough. And I was in & out in 35 minutes. * I should have written a review years ago. I've been a patient of Dr Fineman for 15 yrs since having a retinal stroke. Because of him I had my much needed open-heart surgery. Dr Fineman has always been in my corner. I credit him (and the cardiatric surgeon) for saving my life.

Pompous, arrogant and obnoxious. I was so put off by his attitude. Will never return.

Dr. Fineman saved the vision in my right eye with patience and excellent care. He provided me and my wife with the information we needed to make a sound medical decision. Dr. Fineman walked through the entire process with me which started with a crisis and unexpected loss of vision in my right eye. Today my vision is totally restored. Thank you Dr.Fineman!

As a victim of [chronic] domestic violence, I had suffered some rather devastating punches to my left eye. I was sent to visit Dr. Fineman after the 2nd punch, that resulted in me having some retinal injuries at that time. Dr. Fineman was very attentive and "listened" to my DV history that landed me in his care. Dr. Fineman was very encouraging and supportive; he "cares" about his patients, you're not just a "number" to him. That round of treatment was non-invasive and was cleared up with a series of medications for the type of retinal damage I had suffered at that time. Unfortunately, TWO days after being release from Dr. Fineman's care, I was assaulted yet again. This time was much worse and my eye was in a sad state of injury. I was unable to see at all at 1st while in the ER. After about 8 hours, I was able to make out light/dark and shapes some-what. I contacted Dr. Fineman's office and they took me in right away. Much to Dr. Fineman's dismay; I was explaining the… severity of this round of injury and the specifics of what had happened, as well as what I was experiencing "sight"-wise. Thank the good Lord above that Dr. Fineman has the training, experience, talent and the skills to assess and perform corrective laser surgery on my eye, right then and there. Much to my amazement, I was able to "see" fairly well with the damaged eye, immediately. I was at a loss for words to express my gratitude for Dr. Fineman's abilities and his caring personality. Being "personable" goes along way, when you're a patient that is suffering from PTSD from the severe DV history. Dr. Fineman is "in your corner", and wants the best for you as his patients. He's not just rushing patients thru to collect insurance claims and co-pays. This guy really cares, and I can't say enough about what a seriously competent doctor that Dr. Fineman truly is. For what I went thru w/ my eye, the scare of being blinded, and dealing w/ a monster in my home; Dr. Fineman not only repaired my eye beyond any fathom of my imagination, but he [and his staff] showed true character in encouraging me as his patient, to make the proper decision to put my vison, my health, and my LIFE ahead of the wants/needs of my abuser. Dr. Fineman is willing to stand by his patients and their welfare, and is willing to go the extra mile, to ensure you as his patient are in a better "state" than you could have ever expected. Keep in mind, this doctor is extremely educated, talented, experienced, and knowledgeable; but he is also so very personable, approachable, caring, understanding, and completely genuine. You don't come across this kind and quality of care just anywhere, only with this magnificent man. And I would like to proclaim my complete and utter admiration for the care I received, "Thank You", doesn't even come close to saying how grateful I truly am. Trust in Dr. Fineman, He's there to HELP!
