Dr. Paul Frederick Speidell, PhD

Paul is a terrible therapist. He uses barely passable techniques for treatment and does not possess an objective mind. I became progressively worse after starting treatment with him (was already very sick), until the most stressful moment of my life. His narrow mindedness and absolute obsession with placing unnecessary and inappropriate diagnoses, largely led to my difficult circumstance. This is because he never listened. Rather let things filter through his subjective mind and would then spit garbage back out to me in our sessions. He is overly reactive and emotional. I could see it in his face and body language when I was struggling. He constantly projected his fears and insecurities into our sessions. I was stuck with him due to horrible insurance and limited therapists. Anyone would be a better choice in a therapist than Paul. I mean that literally. Just ask a stranger on the street to listen to you and you will have better outcomes.

I was a client of Dr. Speidell in 1998, and it is amazing how a few months of psychological therapy can change a woman's life! He asked searching questions which seemed to give me my own answers. I attended his Self-Esteem workshop, a small group of others, who met weekly for a few weeks. I learned about "Crazy Thinking" and still catch myself trying to get into THAT mode. Thank You, Dr. Speidell, for you insights, your teaching me relaxation, and for your perseverance and kindness in assisting me to live a more dedicated life to my own liking, not everyone else! Judy
