And, his amicable disposition, vast elite medical expertise, and comforting sense of humor make him an A+, Five Star, Highly-Respected, Exemplary endocrinologist!

Did you ever have a doctor think about you on a Sunday, ON HIS VACATION? Dr Werner just called me to discuss any and ALL problems I have with diabetes and any problem. AND, I just saw him about a week ago where he spent plenty of time with me. Such a WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING. He, is by far, the very best doctor I have ever had. Been going to him for a very long time but he was like this, from the very beginning. Called me several times when I did not leave word for him to call and wanted to go over everything and anything with me. He is so caring. All doctors should take lessons from him. I truly LOVE this doctor. He makes me feel better all the time. I just wish I could repay him somehow, someway for all his caring. He's GREAT.

Treats his patients as individuals, a doctor for all the right reasons. The only reason I gave him four stars instead of five is because he's getting older now, talking about retirement, complaining about technology, but still a sharper thinker than other doctors much younger,

I started seeing Dr. Werner a little over a year ago for my diabetes. He is this funny older gentleman who really cares about his patients. I am currently scheduled for surgery later in the week, and he has been calling me daily to help me get my glucose to a better place. HE has been calling ME. Never had that before and it is quite refreshing, rather than have to leave messages for nurses and hope the doc seems them. He is very popular though, which is why it is so hard to get in to see him. Currently an 8 month wait. He makes up for it though by being available to talk on the phone anytime.

Dr. Werner spent 1.5-2 hours with me when I first met him. He met me in his office, answered all my questions. Decided to biopsy my thyroid that day (he does this himself). I didn't feel rushed at all. He called me a few days later with the results (It was late at night so I'm sure after hours for him) and spent a long time on the phone discussing options with me. He is hard to get an appointment with ( I just called today and he has nothing for 8 months) but they got me in because I had surgery. He is accommodating. And quirky. He sorta mutters to himself and jokes. I really liked him.
