I visited the office about a month ago during this Covid time period. I am pretty careful with things and I was impressed with how the office handles everything. They followed excellent protocols and I felt very safe. They took every precaution. The staff was very friendly and actually very helpful in getting me situated. Dr. Sheffield saw me within about 10 minutes or so. Every time I have visited the office for all of my follow up appointments, the staff was consistently friendly and professional. Very polite as well. Dr. Sheffield sat down with me and went through everything completely about what I should expect before during and after my rhinoplasty procedure. He was most helpful in answering all of my questions even in the many weeks following the procedure. I feel very fortunate as I was referred to him by my dermatologist. Even though I was referred I still did a ton of my own research with online reviews and visiting his website. He has strong reviews and a number of accolades from his past patients. Its actually quite impressive. I am very very please with how my rhinoplasty procedure turned out. Do your own homework, but I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed with this plastic surgeon.

I am a patient of Dr. Sheffield and SB Aesthetics Medical Spa in Santa Barbara CA and have been so for quite a long time now. I love how he truly cares about my needs. Whether it’s catering to how I want my face to look, listening to everything I say and answering all of my questions with patience. This extends to his expertise with Botox injections and also Juvederm fillers. I trust his knowledge and experience. I was a PA and I can with total honesty that he and his office staff are first rate. When I left my appointment today, the feeling I had inspired me to leave this review.

I did extensive research for this med spa visit. I called to make an appointment, and they were quite friendly and they were able to schedule me conveniently. When I got to the office, it seemed clean and professional. The staff was quite helpful and it very kind of them adjust my appointment that day as another one of my prior appts unexpectedly ran long. A plastic surgeon did the Botox and lip injections and a dermatologist did the laser hair removal. I felt in very very good hands!! They were both experts and the procedures were done quickly. The main reason why I chose this medical spa over others was because of the degree of expertise of those performing the procedures. I will be going back on my next visit for a medical facial. There is parking in a lot which is free, and they are located on Bath St. across from the old emergency entrance at Cottage Hospital.

You definitely need to check this place out. Great service and precision work. I went in for Botox and filler injections because I was tired of my current medical spa. They have RNs who do the injecting and they do a good job, but as I’m older I need a bit more artistry. This place soared past my expectations. The pricing is as competitive, but the quality is what stands out. I’d rather have a plastic surgeon doing the job rather than a nurse that’s for sure. I felt well treated and in good hands. The experience was so good I will definitely have my other med spa services done here too. The reviews of this place definitely ring true, and they have off street free parking to boot!! A+++

I recently went to SB Aesthetics medical spa and began the process of laser hair removal on a few areas of my body. They gave a break on the price for doing multiple areas. I have to be honest, the painful was a bit painful some of the time during the procedure mostly because of the many areas. It was certainly tolerable and the dermatologist was able to make adjustments during to make it more comfortable. She periodically checked in with me also to make sure I was doing ok which was very comforting. I am so excited for get the final two sessions done so I can have a hair free smooth body. I’m glad I made the decision to come to this med spa. I looked around prior to and read a ton of reviews. The deciding factor for me was the Cynosure Laser and that a dermatologist does the procedure, not an RN or esthetician. Don’t use groupon deals for second rate expertise, spend the money and get it done right! On my next visit I’m going to treat myself to a facial and some touchups with Botox for my crow’s feet and forehead lines.

15 hours ago- I recently had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Sheffield this week and I certainly could not have for a more qualified and professional plastic surgeon to help assist me through the process. His knowledge of cutting edge procedures was impressive. I very quickly realized I was in the best hands possible. He spent an hour during the consultation and listened to my concerns and guided me in making the best decision for my blepharoplasty. Caring, trustworthy, wonderful bedside manner and outstanding person are a few adjectives I would use to describe him. I would refer him for anyone seeking eyelid surgery or facial plastic surgery.

I found the doctor by reading reviews on the various sites. The office is located on the 2nd floor and it’s near Cottage Hospital. There is plenty of parking in the lot which is free. It was easy to get in for a consultation. The staff emailed me back within a couple of hours. I had a non-surgical rhinoplasty with Dr. Sheffield. I had no idea to the extent of how amazing my nose would turn out. This procedure changed everything for me. The appearance of my nose made my whole face look beautiful and restored the balance and symmetry. This was seriously a life changing experience no doubt. Dr. Sheffield is a considerate and honest plastic surgeon with a serious eye for beauty. He used dermal fillers for the nose job procedure. It’s hard to contain my joy, I am so impressed with the results!! I sincerely hope you put yourself in the wonderful hands of this doctor. You won’t regret it.

I was referred by another plastic surgeon in town for facial rejuvenation. I have some sagging jowls and have lost some skin elasticity in my face and neck area. I’m near 50 and I do not think I want a full facelift, but sought out another opinion for options in improving the contour of my lower face and neck regions. Dr. Sheffield is very insightful and definitely knows a variety of ways to achieve desirable aesthetic results. We talked about a mini face lift and my desire for a less invasive solution which was more cost beneficial. What was attractive about the mini facelift is that it didn’t require general anesthesia and scarring is minimal. I also liked that there was little time for recovery and the procedure could be performed in the office. I was able to resume my yoga classes in just a couple of weeks. I would certainly go back to him for any other cosmetic needs and would recommend him for anyone seeking facial plastic surgery.

My sagging upper eyelids and bulging lower eyelids were something that have bothered me for years. I had eye hollows, which I get is from the loss of collagen due to the aging process. I felt so old and tired every time I looked in the mirror. I had a high school reunion coming up and it has motivated to do something about how I was feeling about my appearance. My girlfriend had her eyes done and referred me over to Dr. Sheffield for eyelid surgery. I made a consultation and extremely impressed with him. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He’s been in practice for a long time in Santa Barbara. Aside from his demeanor and gentle nature, what impressed me the most was how current he is on procedures and techniques. I was blown away. During the consultation, we went over all the various options that could give me a refreshed look, addressing all of my concerns. He suggested we start with the upper eyelids. The procedure to about an hour and a half. The results were fantastic! I came back in a few weeks later for the lower eyelid procedure. He took the fat pads from my lower eyelids and placed them in the tear trough area to address the hollow eye issue. He did both procedures using local anesthesia. Wow! After about 6 weeks everything was complete and my eyes look beautiful!! I know if I went elsewhere it would have cost me double. I’m so amazed the artistry he has and his ability to get results with such little downtime. I will say that it was a little hard to get scheduled quickly in his office as he only performed procedures two days a week. But Dr. Sheffield followed up personally with a phone call after surgery and he took stitches out on the weekend. In my opinion he is one of the best Santa Barbara plastic surgeons around for blepharoplasty and eyelid rejuvenation. I am so confident and ready for my reunion, I cannot express how happy I am! I contacted Dr. Sheffield after doing extensive research for rhinoplasty. I checked out all the review sites and decided to visit his office because of the positive things I read and the fact that he is a well know facial plastic surgeon in Santa Barbara. I was in a car accident a couple of years ago and got a nose job at that time but I’ve never been very satisfied with the result. Overall it’s fine, but I was interested in getting the tip of my nose shaped better, but I really didn’t want to go through the cost and down time of another surgery. Not to mention, a lot of plastic surgeons don’t want to do revisions. Dr. Sheffield has a keen eye and was able to suggest some non-surgical options using fillers. He knew exactly how to make some aesthetic changes which I’m very happy with. Some touch ups on the bridge and on the tip, and that was it. I was in and out of the office in less an hour. I’m very thankful to have found Dr. Sheffield. He’s a gem and a very kind person. His staff is wonderful as well.

I’ve been a patient at SB Aesthetics in Santa Barbara for about three years and I absolutely love it. Dr. Sheffield is so kind and sweet and professional. His staff is super friendly and accommodating. The procedures I’ve had are eyelid surgery, Botox, dermal fillers and microneedling. I didn’t have the best results with the microneedling…my acne scars are pretty deep, he referred me out to a dermatologist in his practice for laser treatment and dermabrasion. I’ve always been very pleased with Dr. Sheffield’s work and would highly recommend you come to see him if you are looking for facial rejuvenation.

I received a lip augmentation from Dr. Sheffield. I've had thin lips my whole life and was more than ready for a change. But with change comes risk, so I asked about what those risks would consist of. Dr. Sheffield explained that there would be little to no risks for a lip augmentation. His reassurance instilled my confidence in the procedure and even swelled me with excitement. I started to think, "it's finally happening!" Within a few days, the swelling on my lips went down and the tiny bit of pain subsided. Very satisfied with Dr. Sheffield!

Dr. Sheffield is an Amazing surgeon and an person!! He is so kind and caring. What’s even more impressive is how skilled he is! His office staff is so great and friendly. They always ask if there is anything they can do for me or if there is anything I need. I never wait more than just a few minutes. They are first class with excellent customer service. I see Dr. Sheffield a few times of year for Botox for my return visits which treat the frown lines between my eyes. He never tries to upsell any other products or treatments. I tell him what i’m interested in in correcting and then he provides me with a treatment plan which makes logical sense. I would highly recommend Dr. Sheffield and SB Aesthetics.

I recently completed my follow up exam for the upper eyelid surgery. I experienced with Dr. Sheffield. Originally, I met with another plastic surgeon but was then advised by a close friend to have a consultation with Dr. Sheffield. I took the advice contacted his office. I was utterly surprised by his straight-forward and honest manner. I never felt like I was getting the "hard sell" when he discussed all of the treatment options. I really appreciate that!! After talking to Dr. Sheffield about eyelid lift surgery; he told me that a surgical option probably wasn’t necessary at this point, and I had a few more years before I may need to consider a blepharoplasty procedure, but if I wanted it, he would take a conservative approach to make it look natural and refreshed. The procedure was very reasonable compared to the quote I got from the other office, which after I did my final research was on the expensive side. Also, their office is located off Bath St near Cottage…..free off the street parking is a plus!

The pre-op and post-op consultations were comprehensive. The office staff is so welcoming and friendly. Dr. Sheffield was personally involved help ensure a smooth recovery process. I love the personal attention!!! Dr. Sheffield was great at removing my sutures (he made it as painless and quick as he could, although this was my least favorite part).

Dr. Sheffield mixes artistry with patience, kindness and made me feel very comfortable with my experience in the office. I am 52 and not trying to look 22. I am not interested in an obviously injected mouth or a forehead that doesn't move. His approach to facial enhancement with fillers is exactly what I hoped it would be, listening to my concerns and not pushing me to try products I am not interested in. He addressed my concerns and explained his approach thoroughly. I am so thrilled with my results, they are subtle, yet profoundly made a beautiful difference. I am very happy and have nothing but praise for him and his warm and friendly staff. Will definitely return.

I recently had my upper blephs done. It has made such a difference. I don't have that tired look anymore and my eyes look spectacular without the drooping lids. I feel so much younger and refreshed. Casey and Anna were so nice. They made me feel right at home. Dr. Sheffield is such a kind person and an excellent plastic surgeon, simply the best!
