To think, all he had to do was retest the urine. He let my daughter get sick enough that a UTI gave her a fever so severe that it sent her to the ICU, septic, and affected electrolytes SO severely that the blood oxygen level was affected, and even gave her both muscular and joint spasms that have NEVER happened with 25+yrs of RA. He allowed her to get sicker and sicker, right in front of him, UNDERmedicated. All for having such a big ego that he wouldn't even retest to prove or disprove his own treatment of antibiotics he had PREVIOUSLY ordered (during the first of multiple prematurely discharged hospitalizations), which were either incorrect ones because they didn't get rid of the UTI, or it came back/got stronger during the 2nd admission, therefore requiring two additional courses of two different antibiotics. **REQUEST TO NOT GET DR. THARMARAJAH, IF YOU'VE EVER HAD ANY SORT OF TRICKY OR COMPLEX HEALTH ISSUE THAT HAS REQUIRED PATIENCE, THINKING OUTSIDE OF THE BOX, OR CONSULTING OF… OTHER SPECIALISTS**

A doctor should care for their patients and Dr. Tharmarajah doesn't. It's a shame .. I'm hoping people read these reviews before considering going to him

Not only is he rude but he also refuses to listen to anything anyone else says including the patient and specialists with my speculation simply being ego, but that last part is conjecture. He is simply not able to handle any case out of the norm and rushes discharge. If you want to have to return to the hospital multiple times then he is, by all means, the man you want. He will undermedicate, prescribe medications you cannot take and then say it's your fault for not trying to get better. During the latest visit with him just before discharge, which was the 2nd time coming to him after being discharged before and coming back to the hospital within 1 day he refused to even get a simple urine test because he said it would return negative despite symptoms pointing to a UTI. Within a week the diagnosis was being septic with a UTI. He will not consult specialists unless forced to. The best way to describe him is simply a terrible doctor. When you think of a doctor you think of someone who… wants to help people and see them get better. A person who cares. None of these things come to mind with Tharmarajah. Honestly in my two months and two hospital visits of experience with him. I can only say he is simply not someone I see as being cut out to be a doctor. His mistreatment is something I have never seen before. I wouldn't let anyone I love go to him ever. If I ever get admitted to the hospital again I'd be sure to make sure he cannot take my case as that is a guaranteed way to assure I don't get proper care. If I could I'd rate him 0 stars. Because 1 implies he did at last some things right.

Dr. Sashikumar Tharmarajhahaja patched up my wounds, he is an experienced doctor coming straight out of India. He has a nice collection of shrek posters and butternut squashes. Would r8 8/8. He helped me when no one else would.

He is one of the best doctors out there who really cares for his patients and treat them like his family. He listens to yours problems and has good bedside manner. He does his best to help his patients and get them feel better.
