Dr. Sidney Stein completed his B.A. degree at New York University-University College in 1972. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York-Downstate Medical Center in 1979. Dr. Stein is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at the Albert Einstein Medical College where he has held that position since 1994. He was elected as a member of the Medical Board of Beth Israel Medical Center in 1990 and still currently serves in that position. He also served as President of the Board in 2001 and 2002. Dr. Stein was named in New York Magazine's Best Doctor List from 2001-2008.

Dr. Stein is by definition a doctor he breaths it he lives it. He’s there when you need him he’s the best.

A truly gifted diagnostician truly dedicated to his patients' welfare. It's such a relief to have a doctor who works at this level.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stein for 10 years now and he is thorough and very comprehensive. His follow up after appointments is truly unbelievable. He genuinely cares about the health and wellbeing of his patients.

Dr. Stein is a wonderful, caring doctor who is very knowledgeable as well as compassionate and caring. He takes time to explain things and is very down to earth in his demeanor.I trust him implicitly with my health issues and I would recommend him to anyone that seeks a true professional that cares for his patients.

Dr. Stein is the finest physician I have ever dealt with. Beyond his courteous demeanor, he has made himself available to me when ever necessary. Most importantly, he is a phenomenal diagnostician. I completely trust him with any and all my health issues.

Dr. Stein is one of the few doctors I know that embodies all the qualities needed to be an excellent doctor. He is empathetic, cares and is very knowledgeable. One of the few doctors that returns your calls almost immediately, takes his time during the consult and is very thorough. I hope more doctors would learn from him.
