Dr. Stephanie Nicole Miles, MD

I called Dr Turnage's office last Thursday and spoke with Shay (or Shea?), and told her about my last PCP. I asked many questions and Shay was very pleasant over the phone and answered all of my questions. She was not only pleasant but very professional (calling me "ma'am"). I had read three reviews regarding Dr Turnage and was a bit skeptical after having read two negative reviews. My "wait" time was a little bit longer because it was my first visit, so I had to complete paperwork. I was there for almost two hours, and the staff was very professional and very friendly to me. I never met Shay but the receptionist, the woman who took my vitals and the doctor made me feel at home ~ like we were old friends who hadn't seen one another in several years. I HIGHLY recommend this doctor! She (Dr) listened to every single thing I had to say, asked questions, answered my questions and just overall impressed me. I highly highly recommend her!!! Not many doctors these days take over an hour with… a patient to 'get to know' the patient. I have a second appointment scheduled for some more "work" and actually look forward to my next visit!! Thank you, Dr Turnage and staff, for making me "feel at home". Keep on doing what you're doing. This is probably THE BEST experience I have EVER had with a Dr and his/her staff. *EVER*!!!

The reseptionist, Tiffany, was the most professional within the entire office. Tiffany was very professional and courteous. It was the Nurse, Shay and Dr Turnage herself who were very rude and unprofessional. I had to call a number of times to get results of my tests when I was told that someone would be calling within 24 to 48 hours. Many times took them 2 weeks or more to return my phone calls. Then when I explained to them that I was very dissattisfied with my service, Dr Turnage told me that if I did not want her to care for me anymore just let her know and then she hung up the phone on me. Now I did not call in an irrate manner nor was I disrespectful. I simply wanted to make the office aware of several occaissions when I had to call for my results which took over 2 weeks. Both Dr Turnage and her nurse explained that 2 weeks was too quick of a turn-around to get information back and they had to tend to patients within the office first. Well the office closes Wed and Fri at… 1pm. Needless to say, I had to have surgery on my knee which I was painfully walking on for 2 months! OUCH!!!
