Dr. Stephen Michael Butler, MD

The surgery went excellently. I problem was after care. The directions from the hospital were not detailed. I went in to the emergency room because my temperature was 99.5. The directions stated to get to the doctor if you had a temperature. No where did it state if the temperature was above 100.5. Also, no where did it state to call Dr. Butler's office. Very poor directions. 2 1/2 weeks later - I called his office to get some more pain meds. I was sleeping with a pillow on my stomach (cats that like to climb on my stomach) and it was uncomfortable enough that I could not sleep with just Advil. Dr. Butler would not give me any more meds, stated that his other patients were fine with Tylenol and Advil. He did not even bother to ask about my situation. If I ever need surgery again, I will NOT use him
