Dr. Steven Eugene Wilson, MD

Two years ago, after two corneal specialists in Indiana told me I needed to have corneal crosslinking right away for keratoconus (at $2000 per eye not covered by insurance), I went to see Dr. Wilson at Cleveland Clinic. He analyzed my corneas and advised me to be analyzed for progression and if that was noted, he would then advise it. I've seen him 4 times over these last 2 years and my vision and maps have been completely stable. I still may need treatment at some point but his opinion saved me money I couldn't afford and a treatment that likely would not have benefited me two years ago. Needless to say, I am grateful and will continue to make the long drive. Nice to know there are still doctors out there you can trust to do what is right for you.

Great surgeon. Had LASIK at a chain. One eye got epithelial growing under the flap. My vision started getting worse and the optometrist wanted to just watch it. Went to Dr. wilson and he removed it and I returned to 20/20. Knows what he's doing and is a real person. Ask him about the Indians or Dodgers!

Great Cleveland refractive surgeon. If someone is going to do surgery on your eyes you better be sure he and his staff knows what they are doing. They do. He did my wife and I 9 years ago and our twins year before last. All of us couldn't have had a better experience.
