Dr. Terence Neil Chapman, MD

I was referred to this urologist because I am pregnant and have a kidney stone. My primary care dr already had an ultrasound performed on me. No physical exam was performed and he acted like it was a huge inconvenience I was present. With no physical exam how could he know if my pain was back vs kidney? I am a practicing veterinarian and if I ever treated a patient like this I would be fired. I will never go back here.

Was with my mom who was having a procedure done.He explained every thing to us. I live in another state and retired from the medical field ,I felt very comfortable with him taking care of my mom and she likes him. :)

Dr Chapman is extremely competent and has a very impressive background in his field. Dr. Chapman did my surgery, removing a kidney and did so without leaving any base uncovered and prevented the return of my cancer. He made me and my family feel comfortable through the entire treatment and I still remain cancer free. I could not have had a better Doctor in every area. Very professional yet personal answering every question my wife and I had, and there were many. When my life was threatened with cancer, I was treated by the best!!

Dr.Chapman has great knowledge in his medicinefield.Very professional and willing to take time to answer any questions.Made me feel at ease with my surgery before and after.Limited amount of pain and soreness after surgery.

Those who know Dr. Chapman feel sure that the allegations are not based on facts, rather misunderstanding or misrepresentation.Dr. Chapman's professional skills are extraordinary. His deportment exemplary.He is well liked and held in high esteem by his peers and patients alike.To "Disappointed" we say: "Find a kind,sympathetic doctor with good bedside manners and who is willing to treat you for whatever ailment (real or imaginary)thus make you very happy.

Dr. Chapman decided before even examining me (which he never did) or asking me questions (which he never did) about my pain, that he was done with me. Because he didn't view the pain as urological in nature, he told me that my best bet was, in effect, to suck it up and not take anything for the pain. He did not use those words, but ones that made me feel equally as stupid and small. He said that the pain my PC doctor diagnosed as kidney pain, was not and he said that if I got additional tests done they would make up a disease in order to sell me prescription meds. He said that there are many "bogus" diseases (fibromyalgia was named) that they make up drugs for to make money. (I was not there about fibromyalgia at all.) He said a number of other "less than sympathetic" to "downright rude" things. In conclusion, he may be fine if you've already been firmly diagnosed and only need someone to sign off on a treatment, but beware if you're not sure of your diagnosis yet. Also beware… if you appreciate a little bedside manner.
