My 90 year old father with dementia, after an hour ride from his nursing home, waited 60 minutes in the waiting area!!! Not the way to treat people!!! When questioned about the wait, the receptionist replied, with totally insincere "empathy", "I am really sorry, we have had some challenging patients today". Upon finally reaching the exam room, the ?nurse? said, "Thank you for your patience." Did we EVER have a choice??? Dr. Kereiakes said NOTHING at all about our wait. He was perfunctory at best during the 10-15 minutes he was with my father. Inexcusable on every level.
