Dr. Vikram S Marfatia, MD

I was under Dr. Mafatia’s care while admitted to LB Community Hospital. I had a little bit of heartburn. They ran a Pitocin test that came back normal. Than ran it again to find out it was still normal. That means there had been no heart event. I should have been released into my cardiologist care at that point. He kept me unnecessarily. He continued to order unnecessary tests, all coming back negative. I insisted that he contact my cardiologist before he continued to treat me. He LIED and said he had tried to make contact. He than ordered a fourth unnecessary test that could be potentially life-threatening for me. I have Fibromuscular dysplasia. I was trying to refuse care until I spoke to me cardiologist personally. Dr. Marfatia wouldn’t take no for an answer. As I was being transported, My husband was able to pass on his personal cellphone to Dr. Marfatia with my cardiologist on the line. He hung the phone up and immediately ordered my discharge papers. He told my husband and… I that I would not be charged for the days that he had kept me unnecessarily . Incredible. Not only does he have zero control over hospital charges. It magnified his unprofessionalism, and incompetence. It was a traumatizing experience.

Love to go to this physician as his diagnosis is perfect

Just can't understand U.S allow this horrible doctor exist. Never return patient call or need.

Misdiagnosed me. Took my copay each office visit for a misdiagnose. Waste of time going to this doctor. Better off going somewhere else. Office staff is okay but doctor is horrible
